Being a tech enthusiast I joined Chandigarh University with the dream of making some projects I always dreamt off and thanks to Chandigarh University I was able to make all of them come true. They provided us with funds, professional help, extra working hours to achieve our goals.And when it comes to placements it is hard to beat Chandigarh University. As Mechatronics is an evolving branch in India, it is hard to find placement but Chandigarh University brings some prestigious companies to the college for placements. WE can opt for the core companies, IT companies or the amrketing companies depending on our choice.

CU offers eco-friendly paperless study through it’s online CUIMS portal. Teaching classes are having best infrastructure, also equipped with projectors in each and every class so that student can learn better through visualization. Particularly talking about HM, Block-2 UITHM (University Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management) is there for the studies related HM. In my concern, India’s best teachers are here to teach and guide students with their excellent industrial experience and great knowledge. Every single faculty is on his/her toes to help the student any moment. Notes and PPT are made available to students for their better studies and knowledge. Along with the theory classes, UITHM block is having many practical lab rooms for each and every subject required including kitchen, bakery, front office, housekeeping, restaurant, soft skills and computer labs. Now coming to the main part of every college, that is the placement record. CU is having the record of 100% placements to it’s students. UITHM is having tie up with several reputed properties like :- a) Ritz Carlton b) Walt Disney c)Taj d)Oberoi e) NOVOTEL f) Hyatt g) Marriott h) IHG i) Zuri j) Carlson. Students will be placed in the 5 star hotels only. Also they are educated with 6 months industrial exposure as their internship in any of these hotels only. College: In my aspect their is no cons in my college. Admission process is way more simpler as a CU office is open in my hometown saharanpur from where I Had cleared my queries and took admission from there only
Exam: There is direct admission in this university. If you scored good marks in your 12th, then you will get a chance to have scholarship based studies, and if not then also no hurdles in the admission process

Placement: I am in first year so as of now I am not doing any internship but there placement in my college is very good. In my course everyone get a job by the end of their degree.The average package may be around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Which i beleive is good for average salary in a bulk of 2000 students
Faculty: The faculty,I believe is not upto the mark at many instances.They lack in knowledge, experience and every other things which are required in a teacher. If you talk about interest, they are not! As they are young they can not control class in an efficient manner.
College: Apart from faculty for first year I believe every thing is positive about my college. Everything is done with a good and synchronized system. Safety of students is also the thing which is properly taken care off

This is the one of the best university in North India in computer science. Because it offers a lot of options in computer like in IBM we have cloud computing, information security, Big data in non IBM we have IOT, Mobile computing, open source. It offers 100%scholarships to the eligible candidates. A good campus selection record is there. Overall it is one of the best colleges in India where faculty are so supportive..

Faculty: My favorite teacher is Anushree ma’am.who teaches communication skills and Ayina ma’am who teaches mathematics.
