• Candidates seeking admission are required to have passed senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology securing at least 60% marks in aggregate are eligible
• Candidates are required to have appeared and qualified in VITEEE conducted by the university to offer admissions to B. Tech and B. Design
• Candidates who have valid score of UCEED are not required to appear in VITEEE for admission to B. Design and vice versa
• Candidates seeking admission to B. Arch should hold a valid score of NATA

How to apply for B. Tech at VIT Vellore

• Candidates are advised to visit the official website of VIT University for online or offline registration.
• Fill the application form and the candidates must ensure that the details filled in by them are correct
• Any incorrect detail may lead to the cancellation of the candidature

• The minimum eligibility is to have passed higher secondary school securing at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized board
• The students are allotted seats based on the marks obtained by them in the last qualifying examination
• The university conducts counselling for admission. Hence, after qualifying for the examination the candidates must appear in the counseling procedure

• Candidates seeking admission to BCA, B. Com and B. Sc courses are advised to visit the official website of the university and fill the application form and process the payment of INR 400 through net banking
• Candidates opting for the offline application procedure must send a demand draft of INR 400 drawn in favor of ‘VIT’ University payable at Vellore

For B. Arch and B. Sc Honors in agriculture, the candidates can visit the official website of the university and fill the application form. M. Tech, MCA and M. Tech by Research are the programs offered at the postgraduate level. The programs are offered under various specializations

• Candidates seeking admission are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field  securing at least 60% marks in aggregate
• VITMEE examination is conducted by the university, qualifying which helps students get admission to these courses
• It is a computer-based test
• Candidates who have a valid score in GATE examination are also eligible for admission
• Shortlisted candidates are required to appear in the interview round conducted by the university

How to apply for M. Tech, MCA and M. Tech by Research at VIT Vellore

These two programs are offered by the VIT Vellore at the Doctorate level: 

• For admissions to M. Phil and PhD programs, the candidates must appear and qualify VITREE examination conducted by the university
• For M. Phil, the candidates must hold a master’s degree in the relevant field with at least 60% marks in aggregate
• For PhD, the candidates must hold a master’s degree in engineering/technology/business administration with at least 60% marks in aggregate
