About UPES
Established through the UPES Act, 2003, of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand, UPES is a top-ranked, UGC-recognised, private university. Internationally, UPES is ranked 801-850 by the QS World University Rankings 2025 under the 'World University' category. As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024, the Ministry of Education, Government of India, UPES has been ranked 46, with a rank of 42 in engineering, 41 in management and a rank of 28 in Law. UPES an amazing university
Placement: Excellent placement opportunities in the college. So many top companies came for placement. Student needs to ensure that they don’t have any backlog. Otherwise, it would affect the CGPA score and most of the companies doesn’t want a student with less CGPA score.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are great and knowledgeable. They help us in every aspect.
College: The placement of the college is excellent, the college ensures that the student is placed in good company. The only thing which concerns me is the high fees as everyone can not afford this much fees. Overall the college is good with a beautiful campus.
Exam: I got admission on the basis of JEE Main score

Placement: No such good opportunity being provided
Faculty: Good faculties are leaving everyday new and inexperienced are hired
College: College has detoriated in the passing year, hike of fees, lack of good faculties, no proper facilities and infrastructure, minimum placements, bad administration.

Faculty: The faculty of the college are great and knowledgeable. They help us in every aspect.

Faculty: Some of the faculty are good but some of them are new and not experienced, thus lack in practical training.
College: UPES is good university but there are some things that i don’t like such as hostel seats are less and you have to take outside hostel. The fee is very high. Campus is decent and placement are also ok.
Exam: Admission is done on the basis of UPSEAT Exam

Best College To Study along with Personal Development.
Exam: Based on School / 12th Class Result
Placement: Placements are nice.They have direct connection with companies like Xebia,IBM.Almost students gets placed who passes the eligbility criteria for placement
Faculty: The faculty is ok.some are really good and some are just ok.There are more than 10 faculties other than your own who is teaching you for a single subject.It was really good though it was in its initial stage but the faculty was really good and experienced, like BP Pandey Sir, Sant Kumar Sir (Ex-ONGC), D K JAIN (Ex-ONGC)
College: The overall management of the college is good enough to run a family of a huge number of students of the campus and provide a step forward in the betterment of their lifestyles.Though management wasn’t good, but they were also at the learning stage at those time, so I can’t blame them for their mistakes.
