The admission procedure of Sunrise University needs to be completed by following a set of certain rules defined on the official website of the university. Since the university offers programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, the admission procedure to each program varies from one another.
Candidates seeking admission to the programs offered by the university must ensure that they fulfill the minimum educational qualification defined by the university.
Minimum Educational Qualification
For Undergraduate programs
- The minimum eligibility to apply for admission to the diploma programs is to have passed 10th standard with a valid score.
- For admission of lateral entry to Diploma in polytechnic, the candidates must have passed ITI or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as the subjects.
- For admission to B. Tech, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics securing at least 40% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to BBA, BHM, BBM, the candidates must have passed 10+2 with 40% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to LLB must ensure that they have scored at least 45% marks in graduation.
- For admission to M. Pharm and B. Sc (Science), the candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to B. Sc, the candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
- Candidates seeking admission to BYN must qualify senior secondary school or must hold a diploma in NDDY from a recognized university or board.
- For admission to B. Sc (Animation), BCA, B. Com, and BA, the candidates are required to have passed senior secondary school securing at least 40% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to BJMC, the candidates must pass senior secondary school securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
For Postgraduate programs
- For admission to M. Tech, the candidates must hold a B. Tech or M. Sc degree securing at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Candidates seeking admission to MBA must possess a bachelor's degree in any field securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to LLM, the candidates must hold an LLB degree with a valid score.
- Candidates seeking admission to MCA and MA must have graduated securing at least 40% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to M. Com, the candidates must hold a B Com degree with at least 40% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to M. Sc, the candidates must have completed B. Sc in the relevant field securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to MA, the candidates must have completed BYN or graduated from a recognized university.
- Candidates seeking admission to MJMC must have graduated securing at least 48% marks in aggregate.
For admission to Integrated courses such as BA LLB and BBA LLB, the candidates must have passed 10+2 securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.
For admission to M. Phil and Ph.D., the candidates must possess a master's degree in the relevant field securing at least 55% marks in aggregate.
Admission to the undergraduate programs at Sunrise University
Candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate programs offered by the Sunrise University must ensure that they fulfill the minimum educational qualification defined by the university.
The candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance. The final shortlisting is done based on the merit list in the qualifying examination.
Admission to the postgraduate programs at Sunrise University
The candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance. The final shortlisting is done based on the merit list in the qualifying examination.
For admission to the integrated programs such as BA LLB and BBA LLB, the candidates are shortlisted based on merit list in the last qualifying examination.
For admission to M. Phil and Ph.D., the candidates must appear and qualify the entrance examination followed by a personal interview round conducted by the university itself.
