South Asian University offers admission to the MA, M.Sc, and LLM courses and students should clear the entrance test which is conducted by the university. They must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized college/university in the relevant subject.
For admission to the PhD course at SAU, students need to clear the entrance test as well as the personal interview, conducted by the university. They must possess a master's degree from a recognized college/university in the relevant subject.

How to Apply for Admission to South Asian University?
To apply for admission to the MA, M.Sc, LLM, and PhD courses in SAU, candidates must follow the common admission procedure mentioned below.
- Visit the official website of SAU which is www.sau.int.
- Select ‘Admission’ and then click on the ‘Apply Online’ link.
- Now, fill up the important details of the candidate and register.
- The registration fee is INR 670 which can be done both online or through bank draft.
- If the registration is done through a bank draft, the draft must be sent to the Deputy Registrar, Admissions, South Asian University, Delhi.
Documents Required for Admission
The necessary documents required during the admission process are:
- Any photo ID proof (Aadhar, PAN, Passport, Election ID, etc)
- Passport-size photo.
- Signature of the candidate.
- Class 10 and 12 passing certificates.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree certificate.
