Highlights of KR Mangalam University
KR Mangalam University was established in the year 2013 under the Act of Haryana Private University as a self-financed co-education university in Gurugram, Haryana. KR Managalam University has got the approval of different statutory bodies recognized by UGC, such as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Association of Indian Universities (AIU) Council of Architecture (COA) National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). All these broad accreditations are an indication that the university strives to maintain high academic and professional standards.
Over this period, KR Mangalam University has set a high standard of education in the higher learning institution and has been awarded many times and prizes for its academic performances and programs. Prominently and quite recently it has been recognized by Education Leaders Conclave Awards with awards like the ‘Best Engineering Institute’ and ‘Best B-School’. Moreover, the ranking of KRMU in the ‘University (Overall)’ category has been improved in The Week 2023, which is also an indication of its increasing stature in the times of learning. Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) have also been established between the university and other universities in other parts of the world such as the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom, Hubei University, Jinggangshan University both in China, University of Houston in the United States of America, Confucius Institutes, and Dubna State University in Moscow. Such collaborations aim at promoting cross-cultural business and thus expand the international dimension of KRMU’s academic missions.
KR Mangalam University has over 10 schools and offers numerous programs among which are the following: School of Engineering and Technology; School of Management and Commerce; School of Legal Studies; School of Journalism and Mass Communication; and School of Agricultural Sciences. The university’s courses offered include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses to support the varied needs of scholars and professionals. At KRMU there is centralized admission for various courses with exams such as CAT for management courses, JEE Main for engineering courses, and many others. This process of admission based on entrance makes sure that those students with all the appropriate skills and knowledge get in the university academic system.

Admission KR Mangalam University
KR Mangalam University (KRMU) Admission 2024 is managed with an entrance exam criteria, across more than 65 courses of learning at UG, PG, Diploma & Doctorate levels. It consists of eleven specialized schools including Engineering, Management and Commerce, Legal Studies, Journalism, and Educational Studies, among others.
The admission process at KR Mangalam University is set up to determine the ability and preparedness of students who wish to pursue their education at KR Mangalam University to high levels of learning. There are two ways by which individuals are allowed to gain entrance: through assessment of merits and passing of national level examinations. The entrance tests are CAT, the Common Admission Test for management programs, MAT–Management Aptitude Test, EMAT –Engineering Management Admission Test, GMAT – Graduate Management Admission Test for MBA in international business schools, JEE Main –Joint Entrance Examination for engineering and UPSEE – Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination for different courses.

Steps of admission process at KR Mangalam University
The admission process organized at KR Mangalam University (KRMU) aims at providing a proper assessment of the candidates and also at providing a proper entry into the different courses being offered. Below is what the admission for 2024 entails:
Step 1: The application process
The procedure for applying to KR Mangalam University is through the online portal by an online application form. Applicants will be required to fill out the online application form after which they will be required to pay an application fee of INR 900. This step formally opens the admission process and it also assists the university in the process of evaluating applications submitted.
Step 2: Selection rounds
For the candidate’s entry, there should be certain general requirements concerning the entrance examinations according to the educational program. For programs like BTech and MBA, it has been made compulsory for the candidates to take common national-level tests like JEE Main, CAT, or MAT. In case the candidates have not appeared for these exams, they can write KR Mangalam University’s own test known as, KR Mangalam Entrance Exam (KREE). Where admission is given based on merit, the university will assess the candidates in line with their performances in the qualifying tests. On some programs, there may be extra tests to be conducted to ensure that the candidate is a perfect fit to join the program; these include interviews among other tests.
Step 3: Merit List
After the selection process is over the KR Mangalam University comes up with a merit list of the candidates depending on their performance. The qualifying candidates are required to attend a counseling session for them to remain on the shortlist. In this session, candidates would have a document check that would prove their qualifications to join the course. After the verification process, all candidates are expected to make payment of the admission fees which guarantees a student a place at the university.

Placement: Talented students get placement opportunities in high-tech organisations.
College: I chose KRMU because I heard it is one of the best engineering colleges in Delhi NCR and equipped with the best infrastructure facilities. $I find assignments and coursework very challenging. Otherwise, everything’s fine here.
Exam: There is an exam every week to prepare students for final exams.

Placement: 100% placement assistance with highest 24 LPA
College: The infrastructure facilites provided by the college is commendable. The hostels are comfortable with a good interior. The college offers the best internship opportunites to its students. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. Labs and library is well equipped also there is a complete balance of curriculum and various cultural activites. cultural fests are organized every year for students to showcase their talents. i would definately recommend this college to my friends. college organizes various guest lectures for the students to communicate with the industry experts.$I dislike the college because at times I had to park my scooty away from the college as there is no parking facility for the vehicles.
Exam: focused approach. Try to do practicals and practise to master the course. Maths is the one subject where you can get full marks
