According to the Jamia Millia Islamia NIRF Report 2024, the Median Package for the B.Tech in 2023 was INR 11 LPA, while the MBA placements averaged INR 10.2 LPA. The Median salary for BA LLB and LLM postings at Jamia Millia Islamia in 2023 was INR 8.4 LPA and INR 9.6 LPA, further highlighting the value of a Jamia Millia Islamia education.
Earlier in 2023, the Jamia Milia Islamia concluded the MCA placement with 70% placement. The top recruiters during the placement were TCS, Accenture, and HCL. JMI MCA placements had the Highest Package of INR 8 LPA. The Highest Stipend offered for Jamia Millia Islamia MCA placements was INR 40,000. According to media reports, around 350 students were placed during the initial phase of Jamia Millia Islamia's 2023 recruitment process.

JMI BTech and MBA students got a wide range of international placements offers during 2023 placements and it was one of the biggest achievements of the year. Recalling the JMI placement 2022, placement records crossed 100 companies, the Highest CTC was 25 LPA and the Median Salary offered was 9 LPA. This consistency in high placement outcomes reflects well on Jamia Millia Islamia’s position to sustain the rate of excellence as a premier institution in India providing higher education.
In 2021, 101 students were placed, and nearly 10 companies of MNC firms took the initiative and participated in the placement process. The Highest package offered was INR 14 LPA for the placement session of 2021 and the Average Package offered was INR 7 LPA, this was higher than the average offer of INR 6 LPA in 2020.
In particular, Deloitte interviewed more than seven students from the M. Com department, which can be viewed as evidence of the interest that JMI receives in the BJ and the companies operating in the sphere of business and finance.
