The application procedure of Jaipur National University can be completed in both online and offline mode. Candidates willing to pursue their career with Jaipur National University must visit the institute’s official website and get themselves registered for further procedure of admission. The courses are offered in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Technology, Hotel Management, Law, Management, and Medical Research.
Jaipur National University offers various programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level. Candidates seeking admission must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for admission.
The application procedure usually starts in the month of March and the announcement of the entrance examination date is made accordingly.
Admission Procedure of Jaipur National University
The university offers various programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level. Admission procedure of each program varies from one program to the other.
Admission to the Undergraduate Programs
The university offers various programs at the undergraduate level. These programs are offered under several specializations thus, creating a pool of options to choose from. Jaipur National University Courses include B. Tech, BBA, B. Com, BCA, B. Sc, BHMCT, BJMC, BA, B. Pharm, LLB, B. Ed, B. Tech + MBA, BHMCT + MBA, BA/BBA LLB, B. Sc- B. Ed, BA-MA, BA-B. Ed, B. Pharm + MBA, and Bachelor of Fashion Design. Some of these programs are offered under several specializations.
- For admission to BBA, B. Com, BCA, B. Sc, BJMC, BA, and BA-MA, the candidates are shortlisted based on the merit. The merit list is prepared by the college according to the marks obtained by the students in senior secondary school.
- Candidates who happen to appear in the merit list are advised to sit through the personal interview round conducted by the university.
- Final shortlisting is done based on merit and candidates’ performance in the personal interview round conducted.
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech, B. Sc, BHMCT, B. Pharm, LLB, B. Ed, B. Tech + MBA, BHMCT + MBA, BA/BBA LLB, B. Sc- B. Ed, B. Pharm + MBA, and Bachelor of Fashion Design are required to qualify the entrance examination conducted by the institute.

The programs offered at the postgraduate level are M. Tech, MBA, MCA, M. Sc, MJMC, M. Pharm, LLM, M. Ed, MA, and MSW. These programs are offered in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Technology, Hotel Management, Law, Management, and Medical Research.
The eligible candidates are granted admission to postgraduate programs under several specializations.
- For admission to M. Tech, MCA, M. Pharm, and LLM, the candidates are required to qualify the entrance examination conducted by the institute.
- Those who qualify the entrance examination are advised to sit through the personal interview round conducted at the university campus.
- Final shortlisting is done based on candidates’ performance in the entrance examination along with personal interview round.
- For admission to M. Sc, MJMC, MA, and MSW, the candidates are shortlisted based on the merit. The merit list is prepared by the college according to the marks obtained by the students in a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates who happen to appear in the merit list are advised to sit through the personal interview round conducted by the university.
- Final shortlisting is done based on merit and candidates’ performance in the personal interview round conducted.
Candidates seeking admission to MBA are selected based on either National Level Test like CAT/MAT/CMAT along with Group Discussion and Personal Interview round or Entrance Test conducted by the institute followed by a personal interview round.
Admission to Ph. D. and M. Phil Program
The Ph. D program is offered under several specializations. The program is offered in the field of Arts, Computer Science, Law, Education, Management, etc.
- For admission to the Ph. D. program, the candidates are shortlisted based on the merit in the last qualifying examination along with the personal interview round conducted by the institute.
- Candidates seeking admission to the M. Phil program are shortlisted based on either merit or entrance examination followed by the personal interview round conducted at the institute.
Minimum Educational Qualification
The candidates seeking admission are required to be eligible according to the norms and policy defined by the university. The eligibility criteria vary from one program to the other.
For Undergraduate Programs
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech must have completed senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to BBA, B. Com, BCA, BHMCT, BJMC, BA, BHMCT + MBA, BA/BBA LLB B. Sc – B. Ed, B. Pharm + MBA, Bachelor of Fashion Design, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school in any field from a recognized board.
- For admission to B. Sc, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with science stream with any of the subjects from Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture/Biotech from a recognized board.
- For B. Sc Nursing, the candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as the main subjects.
- For admission to B. Pharm, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school securing 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as main subjects from a recognized board.
For Postgraduate Programs
- Admission to M. Tech requires a B. Tech/BE degree in the relevant field securing at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Candidates seeking admission to MBA must have graduated in any field are eligible to apply for admission.
- For admission to MCA, the candidates must have graduated in any field with Mathematics as the main subject in senior secondary school.
- For admission to M. Sc, the candidates must possess a bachelor’ degree in the relevant field.
- Admission to M. Pharm requires a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to M. Ed must possess a bachelor’s degree in B. Ed with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to MA and MSW, the candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in graduation in aby field from a recognized university.
For Ph. D. and M. Phil Programs
- Admission to the Ph. D. program requires a master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- For admission to M. Phil, the candidates must possess a postgraduation degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Application Procedure of Jaipur National University
Jaipur National University accepts both online and offline mode of application. For the online mode of application, the candidates must visit the official website if the university and fill the application form.
