AKTU Admission 2024 to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses is based on either the merit in previous qualifying degrees or national-level entrance exams like CUET, NATA, and JEE Main, among others. AKTU, formerly known as UPTU, administers 49 affiliated colleges and 785 institutes, offering a diverse range of over 50 courses in specializations such as Engineering, Business & Management Studies, IT Software, Medicine & Health Sciences, Design, and Science.
The admission process for AKTU's MBA program involves two steps: successfully passing the CUET PG exam and participating in counseling conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. Alternatively, candidates with CMAT entrance scores are also eligible. For the Ph.D. program, candidates need to take a research-based entrance test, and the final selection is based on an interview conducted by the university.

- Candidates must have a passing score on the JEE exam and an overall GPA of at least 50% for general applicants and 45% for SC, ST, and OBC applicants to enroll in the BE program at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University.
- Candidates for the B.Sc., B.Ed., B.Pharma., BSW, B.Com., and BA programs must have passed the 10+2 exam or an equivalent exam with a minimum cumulative score of 50%.

Eligibility
The minimum requirements for eligibility are passing the 10+2 exam with a minimum score of 45% for General candidates and 40% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, depending on the course chosen.
Selection Criteria
The selection process will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the 10+2 exam, with JEE Main being required for BE (Engineering) courses and GPAT being required for pharmacy-related programs. The results of the qualifying exam are used to determine admission to other courses.
AKTU Lucknow PG Admission 2024
The University offers about 8 PG courses in a range of specializations, as shown in the table below.
- Admissions for MSc, M.Com, and MA programs are based on a student’s performance in their relevant graduate program.
- Graduates with at least a 50% overall GPA are required for admission to the M.Tech., MCA, and MBA programs. For the selection process for M.Tech., GATE scores are also acceptable and preferred.
- Candidates for the MSW and M.Pharma programs must have graduated in a relevant field.
- Based on their GPAT scores, students will be chosen for the M.Pharm Program.

Candidate must have a UG degree with at least 45% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates and 50% for General candidates.
Selection Criteria
For selection, the percentage of the UG degree’s marks as well as scores from entrance exams like the GATE or GPAT or other appropriate exams will be considered. Some courses have merit-based admissions.
