College: I am a currently pursuing a course, Integrated B. Tech and M. Tech in Biotechnology from Apeejay Stya University. My department, School of Biosciences has been organising a lot of workshops and seminars, both offline and online, all related to biotechnology. Being a part of these seminars helped my personality flourish a lot, mostly acquired my skills of public speaking and confidence building from these seminars.
Exam: A short interview.

Placement: They organise regular seminars and conferences for us to get an experience with the well-known speakers of big industries. And placements are 85%.
Faculty: All the professors in my course are best and have higher degrees. They always guide us and remind keep is up to date with the recent advances in our field. They are available whole time for our queries and doubts. They support and encourage us.
College: Thus college conducts an interview before registering new students. Also, fees is reasonable and the education and faculties give their maximum efforts to provide you with best of information. You’ll never regret joining this.
Exam: We have to fill the registration form. Then we have to pass an interview to get admitted.

College: Apeejay Stya university is a liberal arts university where a student can take minor subjects of there particular field of interest. The school of bioscience department of this university has highly qualified teachers from different domains of biotechnology and their doors are always open for help and support. The department organizes time to time conferences and seminars with scientists from different industries and I think this is the best thing about this department.The laboratories are well equipped. Students have an option of working is top institutions. The students are also placed in well renowned institutions like Vanta Biotech, NBRC, SunPharma, etc.
Exam: The admission in the university is done on the basis of interview about the related field in which the student wants to get admit.

Placement: Placements for this year are yet to be declared, student placement in previous years were in companies such as Excel Life Sciences, Medanta, Vanta Bioscience Ltd. , Writopedia, Department of Bio-statistics, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, etc.
Faculty: Brilliant, hard working and supportive faculty is present and are always on their toes to help the students. There is a mentor- mentee system in which each student is assigned a mentor from the faculty to guide them. New courses and subjects are offered on the request of students and also to keep up with the ever changing demands of the industry.
College: Placements for this year are yet to be declared, student placement in previous years were in companies such as Excel Life Sciences, Medanta, Vanta Bioscience Ltd. , Writopedia, Department of Bio-statistics, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, etc. Wifi is available in all classes, labs and library. Well equipped labs with competent lab assistants are available along with a well arrayed library. There is an indoor canteen, an outdoor canteen along with a Cafe Coffee Day on the campus. Tournaments are organised yearly for the benefit of students. I do not avail the hostel facility, and hence cannot speak on that front. Faculty: All the teachers in my department have been my favorites honestly cause they all are so professional and caring at the same time. Also the dean of my department is one of the best dean one department can have I would say. He offers the best for students in every possible way. I feel lucky to have them as my faculties.
