JEE Advanced Result 2024 Declared

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has declared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 Result today. Students who appeared in the examination can now check their results at jeeadv.ac.in.


JEE Advanced 2024 was conducted on May 26, 2024 across two shifts. Paper 1 was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 was conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This year’s topper is Ved Lohati, he secured 355 marks in JEE Advanced Exam. 

How to Check IIT JEE Advanced Result 2024?

Below mentioned are the steps to check IIT JEE Advanced Result.

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced - jeeadv.ac.in.
  • Navigate to and click on the ‘Announcements’ tab. 
  • Enter your login credentials such as Application number and password.
  • Once logged in, the screen displays the JEE Advanced 2024 Scorecard. 
  • Download and take a printout of the same for future reference.

The JEE Advanced Exam was conducted in online mode and the total duration in which the exam was to be completed was 3 hours.

There were 1,80,200 candidates who took the exam, both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2024 which was held on May 26. Out of the total students who appeared, only 48, 248 candidates have qualified the examination, of which 7,964 are female candidates. 

 

Ved Lahoti is the topper as per the Common Rank List (CRL) and he is of IIT Delhi zone. He secured 355 marks out of 360. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel is the topper amongst female candidates and she secured 7th rank as per CRL. She has secured 332 marks out of 360.

What are the Criteria for Inclusion in the Rank List?

The aggregate marks are calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in all three sections namely Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Candidates have to secure valid marks subject wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be eligible to appear in the rank list. 

  • Maximum aggregate marks: 360 (180 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
  • Maximum marks in Mathematics: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
  • Maximum marks in Physics: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
  • Maximum marks in Chemistry: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
