CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Counselling Starts Today, 16 August: Check Schedule & Details

CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Counselling: The CSAB Supernumerary counselling starts today, August 16 at csab.nic.in. The online registration will be available till August 19. This counselling round is for admission to supernumerary seats in NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and SVNIT Surat. The candidates belonging to the Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli are eligible for CSAB Supernumerary round counselling 2024.
Candidates will have to upload the required documents, pay the supernumerary seat acceptance fee (SSAF), and complete the online verification process for person with disability (PwD) candidates.
CSAB Supernumerary Seat Acceptance Fee 2024
GEN, GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL candidates have to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 45,000. SC, ST and PwD candidates who have got 1st allotment have to pay SSAF of Rs 25,000.
How to register and fill choices CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Round?
- All eligible candidates must register online at csab.nic.in. Any earlier registration at JoSAA/CSAB Special Round is not valid for CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Round.
- Eligible candidates must login using their JEE (Main) 2024 Application Number and JEE (Main) 2024 Password or JEE Advanced or JoSAA 2024 or CSAB-Special Round .
- After registration, candidates must fill fresh choices of academic programmes. Choices filled during JoSAA/CSAB Special rounds are null and void. Please fill and save choices frequently during the registration schedule.
- After locking the choices by candidate or system, the candidate can take print of locked choices.

Documents required for CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Round Counselling
Candidates who are allocated a seat in the supernumerary round are required to upload the following documents on the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round portal.
- Class 10 certificate or birth certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- UDID Card or PwD certificates for PwD candidates
- State of eligibility proof
- Medical certificate
