CBSE Board Exams 2025 Date Sheet Coming Out Soon: Check Key Details

The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is set to release Class 10 and 12 board exams date sheet soon. The CBSE board exams 2025 for both classes is tentative to begin from 15th February 2025. This information is speculated on the basis of a post made by PTI on X earlier. The exams are supposed to start in February and end in April.
The CBSE Board Exams have been conducted from 15th February for the pas two years. In the years 2021 and 2022, the CBSE Board Exam was conducted on 4th May - 7th June and 26th April - 24th May, respectively. The CBSE Date Sheet 2025 will include exam dates, days, timings, and other exam related instructions to be followed by the students.
The exam will be conducted in offline mode in pen and paper format. The CBSE date sheet 2025 for practical exams will be released separately. For class 12 the practical exams will be held under the invigilation of an external examiner whereas for class 10 students the practical exams will be invigilated by teachers from their own school. The Board has strictly ordered all schools chosen as examination centers for the forthcoming CBSE Board Exams 2025 to be under compulsory CCTV ( Closed Circuit Television) policy. In total almost 44 lakh students will be appearing for these exams including students from India and 26 other countries. On an approximate 8000 schools will be assigned as exam centers for CBSE Board exams 2025.
The CBSE board has released a series of FAQ (frequently asked questions) so that the affiliated schools can easily submit the LOC (List of Candidates) timely and with accuracy for the CBSE Board exams for the academic session 2024-25.
In the mean time, CBSE is also speculating about and looking into semester system exams conducted twice an year. For the past years CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board exams are usually held between February to March. As of now there has been no official announcement regarding the new semester system and consultations are still in process as to how ,when, and in what format should the strategy of holding board exams twice annually be executed.
