TS LAWCET 2024 - The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced the date for TS LAWCET Exam 2024, which is scheduled for 3rd June 2024. The TS LAWCET Exam is conducted for admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB Courses. A separate exam is conducted for admissions to LLM Courses, known as TS PGLCET.
The TS LAWCET Registration 2024 will begin shortly on 1st March 2024 as intimated by TSCHE. The Exam is conducted online, and students can apply for TS LAWCET Exam 2024 on the official website - lawcet.tsche.ac.in.
What is TS LAWCET?
TS LAWCET is a state-level examination that is conducted annually by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission to three-year and five-year LLB courses. The exam is conducted in an online Computer-Test based mode and the duration of the exam is 90 minutes. (1.3 hrs)

TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria
To be able to appear for TS LAWCET certain eligibility criteria have been set for both 3-year and 5-year LLB Courses. It must be noted that though there is somedifference in the educational qualification criteria, however, the age limit and nationality criteria remains the same for both.
- There is no age imit for both 3-year and 5-year LLB courses, and the candidate can appear for the exam anytime.
- The candidate must be an Indian National and satisfying the local or unreserved status requirements as per the Regulation of Admissions

The TS LAWCET Application Form 2024 is likely to be available to the candidates online on the official website during March or April. Candidates are advised to fill out the application form correctly and without any errors. If the application is found incomplete, incorrect, or not submitted within due time the convenor of TS LAWCET has the right to reject these applications without any prior notice.

TS LAWCET Syllabus
The TS LAWCET Syllabus consists of subject knowledge into General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law. The syllabus for a 3-year LLB Course is of degree level while the syllabus for a 5-year LLB Course is of 10+2 (Intermediate) level. TS LAWCET Admit Card
The exam conducting authorities will release the TS LAWCET Admit Card in online mode. Candidates can download it from the official website a week before the exam and must ensure to take a printout of the same for further use. Below are the steps to download the TS LAWCET Hall Ticket.
Step 1: Visit the official website and search for the TS LAWCET Admit Card/Hall Ticket download link
Step 2: Login by entering the Registration Number, DOB, and Mobile Number
Step 3: Once the candidate clicks on the ‘Get Hall Ticket' button, the TS LAWCET Admit Card/Hall Ticket will be displayed on the screen
Step 4: Download the Admit Card/Hall Ticket and take a printout of the same for further use
TS LAWCET Answer Key
The TS LAWCET Answer Key is released post-completion of the exam by TSCHE on the official website. The Answer key is released so that the students can match their answers and get an estimate of the marks expected. In case the students need to object, they can do so by filling out the ‘Key Objection Form' that will be available on the website along with the proof of their claim. Once the authorities have reviewed all the claims, the final answer key is released.
TS LAWCET Result
TS LAWCET Result is declared on the official website of TS LAWCET in the form of Ranks. Candidates are ranked based on the merit obtained in the TS LAWCET Exam. The TS LAWCET Rank Card can be downloaded by following the steps below:
- Visit the official website of TS LAWCET
- Click on the ‘Rank Card' tab on the home page (Once Released)
- Enter the details as requested - Hall Ticket Number and DOB, and click submit
- The TS LAWCET Rank Card 2024 will appear on the screen
- Download and save for future reference
TS LAWCET Result - Tie Resolve
In case of a tie, any one of the below methods will be used to break the tie.
- The marks obtained in PART C of the TS LAWCET exam are prioritized (Aptitude for Study of Law), and if the tie continues, marks obtained in PART B (Current Affairs) are considered.
- If the tie persists, both parts are bracketed together for ranking, and seniority in age is considered at the time of admission.
TS LAWCET Admission Process
Once the candidate has qualified in the TS LAWCET Exam they will need to appear for the online counseling process to complete the TS LAWCET Admission Process. There are 4 steps in the TS LAWCET Admission Process which are described below
Step 1: As a first step the candidate applies for the exam online on the official website and follows the registration process
Step 2: Once they are registered and have paid the fees, they will appear for the TS LAWCET Exam
Step 3: After the exam is over, the candidate will check the result through the official website and see if they qualify for the counseling process
Step 4: If the candidate has cleared the exam, they sit for the online counseling process. The counseling process will begin with web-option filing entry where the candidates will choose their preferred colleges and the process will be based on the merit list
TS LAWCET Counseling and Seat Allotment
The TS LAWCET Counseling process will be held online, and students who have qualified in the TS LAWCET Exam will be eligible for counseling. The Counseling Process has been briefly explained as under.
Registration - The candidate will register for the online counseling process on the official website
Document Verification - The documents will be verified at the designated counseling centers and will be done merit-rank-wise
Display of registered candidates - The list of candidates who clear the counseling will be published post verification
Exercising Web Options - In this step, the candidate will choose their preferred colleges
Seat Allotment - The seats will be allotted based on rank and the colleges chosen by the candidate, depending on the number of seats available
Reporting to the Allotted College - Once the seat allotment is finalized, the candidate will be reporting to their allotted college and confirm the seat
