IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.
The SNAP Syllabus 2024 has been released on the official website of SNAP - snaptest.org. The SNAP Exam Syllabus will consist of topics namely General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Analytical Reasoning, and Logical Reasoning. The syllabus of the exam is prescribed by the Symbiosis International University (SIU) which is the examination conducting body. It is very important for MBA aspirants to first be fully aware of the SNAP Exam Syllabus and then start preparing for the examination accordingly.
The SNAP 2024 Exam is scheduled to be conducted in three sessions in the month of December 2024 and SNAP Registration is currently ongoing. The last date to fill SNAP Exam Form is is 22nd November and the exam is scheduled to be conducted on 8, 15, and 21 December 2024. These SNAP Exam Dates have been released on the official website as well - snaptest.org.
The test is conducted by the Symbiosis International University, Pune, every year and the syllabus for SNAP test is prescribed and designed by the university. The syllabus is easy and can be easily covered in 6 months.
The SNAP question paper consists of 60 MCQ type questions and the duration to solve these questions is 60 minutes i.e. 1 hour. The exam conducting authorities also conduct SNAP Mock tests before the exam to familiarize the students with the SNAP Exam Pattern and the kind of questions that can be asked in the exam. To perform well in the exam, it is necessary that the students are aware of the important topics and books for the SNAP exam, and most important they should be aware of the SNAP exam syllabus. The highest weightage in the SNAP syllabus is given to the Analytical Reasoning section with 25 MCQ questions. It is followed by the QA section with 20 questions, and then General English with 15 questions. Some important topics covered in these sections are - Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Partnership, Time-Speed-Distance, Data Interpretation (QA section); Column Graphs, Pie Charts, Coding and Decoding, Puzzles (LR section); Syllogisms, Analogies, Grammar, Antonym-Synonym, One Word Substitution, Similar Sounding Words, Para jumbles, Fill in the Blanks (GE section).
For the sectional composition of the SNAP exam, the QA section has 20 questions, the Logical Reasoning has 25 questions and English has 15 questions. There is no sectional time limit to solve the SNAP test.
The SNAP test is conducted on 3 dates in a year. Candidates can take 3 attempts at the SNAP exam. The best SNAP score can then be used for admission to MBA programs. The SNAP exam will be conducted on 8, 15, and 21 December 2024 this year.
To avoid a negative marking in SNAP, candidates should first attempt as many mock tests as possible and focus on difficult questions. In case you are unsure about a question or find it tricky, it is best to skip the question or mark for review later.
The SNAP test is conducted only online through a computer-based-test (CBT). There is no other way to attempt the SNAP exam.
The syllabus for the SNAP exam is divided into three major sections - Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and General English. Candidates need to prepare for the exam on these topics only. SNAP exam is a student-friendly exam, and can be cracked easily with good preparation.
