New Update About SNAP 2024
IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.

The SNAP Cutoff usually ranges around 97 to 98.5 percentile for SIBM Pune, and for other SIU colleges it ranges from 95 to 70 percentile. The SNAP cut off will be released after the SNAP 2024 results are announced. For a few courses the SNAP Cutoff can go as low as 50 - 60 percentile. Every year, each of the 16 Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU) release their cut off individually for the admission. Candidates must meet this SNAP Cutoff to be eligible for participation in the Group Exercise (GE). Written Ability Test (WAT), and the Personal Interview (PI).
The SNAP 2024 exam is set to be conducted on December 8, 15, and 21, and the result will be announced on January 8, 2025, for all the sessions together. Once the results have been declared, the SIU institutes will be releasing their SNAP cut offs for the season. What is the SNAP Cut Off?
SNAP Cut off refers to the minimum marks that a candidate must score to be eligible for participation in the selection rounds of SIU, which include the Group Exercise (GE). Written Ability Test (WAT), and the Personal Interview (PI). Unlike exams like CAT, XAT, or NMAT, there is no sectional cutoff for SNAP. Candidates only need to meet the overall SNAP Cutoff criteria.
Students must keep in mind, that meeting this cutoff does not guarantee admission to any of the SIU Participating Institutes, and only makes them eligible for the further rounds of selection. Those who do not meet this cutoff will not be able to participate in further rounds of selection.

SNAP Cutoff Highlights
SNAP cutoff varies each year and depends on several factors. Below are a few key highlights of the SNAP 2024 Cutoff that can be expected.
- SIBM Pune cutoff 2024 can be expected to be around 97-98.5 percentile, while for SCMHRD Pune, it may be between 94 and 96 percentile.
- In other SIU institutes, the admission cut offs are usually in the range of 60-70 percentile.
- Candidates scoring as much or above the fixed SNAP 2024 cut off percentile will be eligible to participate in GE-WAT-PI round.
- Each SNAP participating college will release the cut off individually on its website a few days after the SNAP 2024 result announcement.
- The SNAP exam 2024 cut off will be known to only those candidates who will be selected for the GE-WAT-PI round.
- Based on the SNAP cut offs 2024 determined by the institute for that year, qualifying candidates will have to participate in the GE-WAT-PI round.

SNAP Marking Scheme
SNAP is a computer-based-test (CBT) conducted for a duration of 60 mins. The paper has total 60 MCQ questions with no sectional time limit. 1/4th mark is deducted for each wrong answer, and the candidates are awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. SNAP Cutoff for Previous Years
This section provides a brief about the previous years' SNAP Cutoffs.The cutoff analysis has been presented from 2023 to 2017 for all the SIU participating Institutes. In 2023 and 2022 SIBM Bangalore cutoff remained the same at 90 percentile whereas the SIBM Hyderabad cutoff was 58 percentile in 2021. Additionally, in 2021 the SCMHRD cutoff was 96 and fell between the range of 94-96 in 2022. The symbiosis Pune cut off was 98.5 in 2021 and fell between the range of 97-98 in 2022. SNAP Selection Process
After the SNAP Cutoff is released, the SNAP Selection Procedure begins. The SNAP selection and admission process comprises of 4 major steps. Check these steps explained in brief below.

Step 1: Group Exercise
SNAP Group Exercise (GE) is conducted in 2 parts- puzzle-solving and group discussion. In the first round, candidates have to work in teams to solve the given puzzle/ case. This round is designed to check the team spirit and coordination skills of the candidate. The next round will be Group Discussion. In this round, the candidates will be divided into groups of 5-6 and a topic will be given for discussion. Candidates are judged on their leadership, debating, and convincing skills.
Step 2: Written Ability Test
SNAP Written Ability Test (WAT) will test a candidate's writing and interpretative skills. In this round, a topic will be provided for essay writing. Candidates must ensure that their essay is well-structured and includes some practical examples to increase their score.
Step 3: Personal Interview
SNAP Personal Interview (PI) round is mainly conducted to analyze the candidate's personality, his/ her confidence, communication skills, and knowledge of important current affairs. The candidate will be interviewed by a panel of experts and the members of the selection committee of the college.
