New Update About NMAT 2024
IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.

The NMAT Cutoff is released by NMIMS either in the form of marks or percentile and other MBA accepting institutes also release their separate cut offs. While the highest percentile at NMIMS is 98 - 99, there are colleges accepting a percentile of 70 - 80. Going by NMAT 2024 score vs percentile analysis by experts, you should score about 225 marks to get a 98+ percentile in the NMAT Exam 2024.
Based on last year's NMAT Cut off trends, the cut off for NMIMS Bangalore and NMIMS Hyderabad is comparatively lower than the Mumbai campus. It ranges from 95-98 percentile or a score of 215-220.

What is the NMAT Cutoff?
The NMAT cutoff refers to the minimum marks which the candidate must secure to be eligible for the selection rounds at NMIMS and other NMAT accepting institutes. A candidate must clear the sectional cutoff to be eligible for selection rounds which include - GD, WAT-PI. Some salient features of the NMAT cutoff are presented below.

NMAT Selection Process
The NMAT Selection procedure consists of 4 major steps - appearing for the NMAT by GMAC exam, clearing the NMAT cutoff, appearing for the GD, WAt and PI rounds, and the final merit list of the shortlisted candidates. The brief about the procedure is given below.
Step 1: Appearing for the NMAT by GMAC exam
The first step in the process is to complete the NMAT registration and appear for the exam on the set dates. The NMAT exam is scheduled for November 5 to December 20, 2024.
Step 2: Clearing the NMAT Cutoff
The second step is to clear the NMAT Cutoff. Once the NMAT result is declared, each NMAT accepting college will release their cutoff list as sectional cutoff and the overall NMAT cutoff. Candidates scoring above the minimum cutoff will then be eligible for the further selection rounds.
Step 3: Group Discussion (GD)
Candidates will be divided into groups of 7-10 and a relevant topic will be given for discussion. Candidates will be judged for their vision, viewpoints, leadership skills, and decision-making skills.
Step 4: Personal Interview (PI)
The GD round will be followed by the PI round. Candidates will be interviewed by a panel of experts and members of the internal selection committee. This round is mainly conducted to analyse the candidate's personality, his/ her confidence and knowledge of important current affairs.
Step 5: Final Selection
The final selection of candidates is based on their performance in the screening rounds. Each B-school will decide the weightage of NMAT scores for their respective selection process. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by a candidate in NMAT by GMAC, personal interview, WAT, psychometric test, work experience and past academic performance.
