NMAT Eligibility Criteria
While filling out the NMAT application form it is important for the applicants to check the eligibility criteria for NMAT exam before applying. The applicants who did not fit in the NMAT eligibility criteria as specified by NMAT by GMAC, they will not be allowed to sit for the exam, and their applications would be rejected. - Candidates should have completed their graduation under the 10+2+3 or four-year education pattern from any discipline.
- They must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50 percent in their final graduation year.
- Candidates who are awaiting results or in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for NMAT 2024. However, admission will be granted on a provisional basis until they submit their graduation mark sheet and certificate of the qualifying examination.
Before registering for the examination, candidates should individually verify the eligibility criteria of NMAT-participating colleges. While applying, applicants are required to select five institutes of their preference for admission, and these institutes may have different eligibility criteria for admission. How many times is the NMAT registration window facilitated?
The NMAT registration window is facilitated by GMAC once a year only. However, after the exam is concluded the retake window is facilitated twice because a student has 3 attempts at NMAT in a year.
Is there any provision for application correction in NMAT?
No. the exam authority, GMAC, does not provide any correction window to rectify the NMAT application. Candidates should therefore be very careful while applying for the NMAT exam and should check that each detail mentioned in the form is correct and accurate.
