IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.

NMAT 2024: The Graduate Management Associate Council (GMAC) has declared the NMAT by GMAC registrations open on August 1, 2024. The NMAT exam will be conducted from 5th November to 20th December 2024. Candidates can register for the exam by visiting the official website - mba.com/exams/nmat. The last date to register for the exam is October 10, and the exam scheduling facility can be availed until October 14. How many times is the NMAT exam conducted in a year?
The NMAT exam is conducted once a year with three attempts. The candidate can appear for the NMAT exam 3 times in a year.
Is NMAT harder than CAT?
As compared to CAT, NMAT is a far easier exam. CAT is one of the most difficult MBA exams, and the major difference between the two exams is that both exams have different solving styles. NMAT Exam or NMAT by GMAC is a national-level MBA examination for admission to NMIMS and other reputed b-schools in India as well as abroad. Until GMAC took over, the exam was conducted by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) itself. NMAT is a student-friendly exam as it allows the students to choose their own exam date and venue during the NMAT scheduling window. NMAT and GMAT have certain common features like choosing the preferred date during a testing window as well as self-schedule the test, time and venue, and appointment date based on the availability of seats at the preferred test centre. The NMAT exam is conducted annually on the specified test dates, and the NMAT by GMAC score is based on the performance of candidates in three sections, namely, Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning.

What is meant by the NMAT retake window?
The NMAT exam is conducted 3 times a year, with one main attempt and 2 retakes. So, the NMAT retake window refers to the option where the candidate fills out the NMAT application again to retake the exam. What is the NMAT test window?

NMAT Eligibility Criteria
While filling out the NMAT application form it is important for the applicants to check the eligibility criteria for NMAT before applying. The applicants who did not fit in the NMAT eligibility criteria as specified by NMAT by GMAC, they will not be allowed to sit for the exam, and their applications would be rejected. Check the NMAT eligibility requirements that the candidates need to fulfil below.
- Candidates should have completed their graduation under the 10+2+3 or four-year education pattern from any discipline.
- They must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50 percent in their final graduation year.
- Candidates who are awaiting results or in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for NMAT 2024. However, admission will be granted on a provisional basis until they submit their graduation mark sheet and certificate of the qualifying examination.
Before registering for the examination, candidates should individually verify the eligibility criteria of NMAT-participating colleges. While applying, applicants are required to select five institutes of their preference for admission, and these institutes may have different eligibility criteria for admission. It must also be noted that the eligibility criteria may vary as per the allotted college.
Who is eligible for the NMAT exam?
Any student who completed their graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% marks is eligible to apply for NMAT.
NMAT Application Form
The NMAT application form is available on the official website till 10th October and the candidates need to register and fill out the application form online. It is to be noted that that after the NMAT registration is completed, the test reschedule window is open for 72 hours from the date and schedule of the test. The step by step procedure to fill the NMAT application form is explained below.
Step 1: NMAT Registration
The first step to fill out the NMAT application is to register for the NMAT exam on the portal. Check the procedure to register for the NMAT exam below.
- Visit the official website of NMAT
- Enter the details as requested - Name, Email ID, Phone Number, and Create a Password
- Click on the check boxes for communication process and latest updates
- Check the Captcha box and click on 'Create Account'
- The NMAT details or credentials for login will then be shared to your registered Email ID. Ensure that the email ID provided is fully functional as all the communication will be sent through that email address
How many times is the NMAT registration window facilitated?
The NMAT registration window is facilitated by GMAC once a year only. However, after the exam is concluded the retake window is facilitated twice because a student has 3 attempts at NMAT in a year.
Is there any provision for application correction in NMAT?
No. the exam authority, GMAC, does not provide any correction window to rectify the NMAT application. Candidates should therefore be very careful while applying for the NMAT exam and should check that each detail mentioned in the form is correct and accurate.
Step 2: Filling out the NMAT Application Form
Once the registration process is completed, the next step is to complete the NMAT application. Follow the below instructions to complete the application form.
- Visit the official website
- Enter the login credentials shared on the registered email after the registration process was completed
- Fill in the remaining details like personal, contact, educational details, and any other details as asked in the form
- Candidates also need to fill up 5 school/college preferences in this step. Every additional school chosen beyond 5 will be chargeable
- Upload all the necessary documents like education documents, and a scanned passport-sized photograph and signature
- Check and review the information filled in the application form. No correction window is available to rectify the details if wrongly filled

NMAT 2024 Exam Scheduling
The scheduling for NMAT 2024 retakes is anticipated to be available from October to December 2024. The exam scheduling process operates on a first-come-first-serve basis. During scheduling, candidates have the freedom to choose their preferred exam center, date, and time slot.
After successfully completing the NMAT 2024 Registration, candidates can access the NMAT scheduling feature on their login page through the official website. It is important for NMAT applicants to be aware that they will receive a confirmation email from GMAC on their registered email ID after successfully completing the NMAT Scheduling 2024 process.
How to Schedule the NMAT Exam 2024?
Once candidates have finished their registration and made the required fee payment, they can proceed to schedule their NMAT tests. This can be done by accessing the 'NMAT Schedule Exam' link provided on the dashboard of the official NMAT 2024 website. The scheduling portal allows candidates to conveniently check real-time seat availability at their preferred test centers.
Candidates have the freedom to select their desired test date, time slot, and preferred test location during the scheduling process. However, the final allotment of these choices depends on the availability of slots at the chosen test center.
Within 24 hours of scheduling the test, candidates will receive a confirmation message or email containing details about their NMAT test center.
If candidates do not receive the confirmatory email within the specified time, they should promptly report the issue to the NMAT Helpdesk for immediate assistance.

NMAT Admit Card
The NMAT 2024 Admit Card can be download at the same time and on the same date of the registration. Once the applicant has completed the NMAT registration process and paid the NMAT Application fee, they can schedule their exam slot and download the NMAT 2024 admit card simultaneously. The NMAT admit card can be downloaded till the examination day.
Difference Between NMAT Registration & NMAT Scheduling
It is essential to understand that NMAT registration and NMAT scheduling are distinct events in the examination process. During the registration process, NMAT aspirants are required to complete a one-time registration by providing essential personal information. Additionally, candidates must choose the desired college(s) where they wish to send their NMAT scores and indicate if they have appeared for any other MBA exams, among other details.
On the other hand, NMAT scheduling pertains to the facility where candidates can choose their preferred exam date, exam city, and time slot. The NMAT exam scheduling window, also referred to as NMAT slot booking, allows candidates to select their desired options according to availability.
Important Guidelines for Disabled Students
NMAT by GMAC offers special arrangements and accommodations for test takers with disabilities. Those candidates who require such assistance should make a request to GMAC while filling out the NMAT application form.

Is there any sectional time limit in NMAT?
Yes, the NMAT exam enforces sectional time restrictions. Candidates have 28 minutes allocated for the Language Skills section, 40 minutes for the Logical Reasoning section, and 52 minutes for the Quantitative Skills section.

To make a successful attempt at the NMAT exam it is essential for the candidates to understand the NMAT exam questions, exam pattern, and the overall test structure of the exam. The NMAT exam result is released on the official website of NMAC after the examination is conducted. Candidates need to use their login credentials to check the NMAT by GMAC results. Follow the below instructions to check the results:

- Log in using the credentials created during the registration process
- Enter any other details like NMAT Application Number or NMAT ID and password, if asked
- The NMAT result cum scorecard will be displayed on the screen

What do scale and percentile scores refer to in the NMAT exam?
The percentile in the NMAT exam shows what is the percentage of performance as compared to other students. if you're in the 90th percentile, you scored better than 90% of the people who took the test. The NMAT scores range from 36 to 360, with each section of the test adding to the total score.
When will GMAC release the NMAT results?
The NMAT results are released soon after a candidate takes the exam. The results are released instantly after the test taker completes the test. The scorecard however is available for download within 48 hours of taking the test.
NMAT Admission & Selection Process
Following the release of the NMIMS NMAT Cut off and other MBA colleges, the NMAT Selection Process 2024 will commence shortly. It's essential to note that there is no standardized selection process shared among the participating B-schools. Instead, each school will independently announce its specific NMAT cut-off criteria. The NMAT 2024 selection process initiates with candidates registering and participating in the entrance exam.

To be eligible for admission, candidates must take the NMAT 2024 exam.
Step 2: NMAT Result 2024
Subsequently, all B-schools will announce their individual NMAT 2024 cut-offs. Candidates need to meet the exam cut-off to proceed with the selection process.
Step 3: Screening Process
The third step involves candidates participating in additional screening rounds organized by B-schools. These rounds may include GD (Group Discussion) or WAT (Writing Ability Test) followed by PI (Personal Interview) sessions.
Step 4: Final Selection
The final selection of candidates is based on their performance in the screening rounds. Each B-school will decide the weightage of NMAT scores for their respective selection process. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by a candidate in NMAT by GMAC, personal interview, WAT, psychometric test, work experience and past academic performance.
