New Update About JEE Main 2024

IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.

What is CRL in JEE Main 2024? – The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2024 Result for Session 2 on the night of April 24, 2024. Along with the All India Rank (AIR), the NTA has also released CRL. Students are keen to know “What is the meaning of CRL in JEE Main 2024 Result”. The full form of the CRL is Common Rank List. The Common Rank List is the rank list that consists of all the names and ranks of all the students who have qualified for the JEE Main 2024 Exam. The CRL will have the candidates’ ranks which is calculated based on the marks obtained by them in the exam among all the test takers and this rank will be considered irrespective of the category that they belong to.

What is CRL in JEE Main 2024 – Difference Between CRL Rank and AIR

Besides knowing “what is CRL in JEE Main 2024 Result”, candidates must also be aware of What is the difference between the CRL Rank vs AIR (All India Rank). Candidates must know that the CRL Rank is as same as the All India Rank. The All India Rank gives a universal reference point for evaluating candidates’ performance along all the examinees.

However, the National Testing Agency will also release a category wise rank list for all the categories separately. The other category wise lists to be released are OBC Rank List, SC Rank List, and ST-PwD Rank List. These rank lists will contain the ranks of the candidates who have claimed reservation. The ranks published through these lists will be different from the CRL Rank and are supposed to be higher than the CRL Rank.

Those who qualify for JEE Advanced 2024 and qualify the same will be applying for the various institutes and they are advised to fill out choices based on their CRL Ranks as well as their category list rank.
