The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the medical examination for UGCET-2024 Physically Disabled candidates, which was originally scheduled for April 25, 2024 and April 26, 2024, due to the Lok Sabha general elections. KEA stated in an official notice that new dates for the medical examination will be announced on the KEA website soon.

The UGCET 2024 undergraduate exam took place on April 18, 2024 and April 19, 2024 in two shifts. Candidates who appeared for the exam have the opportunity to raise objections against the questions until April 27.

The exam process saw several changes. KEA allowed candidates who missed the initial application deadline to register and pay the fee until April 12. Some candidates had only applied for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and not for CET for engineering. KEA had stated that it would not issue admit cards for such candidates.

KEA had previously announced that it would allow candidates to edit their application forms after the entrance exam.

Registration for KCET 2024 began on January 10, with the application form unavailable from January 13 to 17. The deadline was extended to February 20. The application window reopened from March 12 to 15 and then again on March 30.

The exam was originally scheduled for April 20 and 21 but was moved up to April 18 and 19 due to a clash with NDA exams.
