The LSAT—India scaled score is determined based on the number of correctly answered questions by candidates, serving as an estimation of their actual proficiency. The difficulty level of LSAT—India can vary across different sessions, making it incomparable to compare raw scores obtained in various sessions. The use of scaled scores in LSAT—India 2023 enables candidates and universities to make comparisons among different scores during the admission process. The LSAT—India 2023 Score Band indicates the approximate proficiency of candidates in the skills assessed in the LSAT—India 2023, recognizing that the actual proficiency of candidates may slightly differ from the reflected LSAT—India score.

The LSAT or the Law School Admission Test is an entrance exam required for admission to most law schools. It is a multiple-choice paper-and-pencil test that is administered by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC).
The LSAT is 3 hours and 30 minutes long. The exam contains 99-102 multiple-choice questions. The LSAT is designed in such a way that the average test taker will be unable to comfortably complete all of the questions in the time allotted.
The LSAT is given twice a year to give candidates the opportunity to take the test when they believe they are better prepared. Candidates who did not do well on the first test can retake it to improve their score.
