New Update About GPAT 2024
IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.

GPAT Exam is conducted to facilitate admission into the Bachelor of Pharmacy course and to award fellowship to eligible Pharmacy graduates. So far, the GPAT Exam Pattern was a mixture of objective questions, fill in the blanks and matching the right answers, however, it was changed to a completely objective paper pattern. There is a one third negative marking assigned to every wrong answer.
- Clear your basic concepts from your B.Pharm text books before you use additional study material.
- Study All topics given in detailed syllabus apart from important topics.
- Use topic-area charts for quick revision.
- Pay attention to details as most often questions are based on specific points.
- Remember names of drugs, ingredients etc by using mnemonics.
- Practice sketching molecular structures, it will help you remember them easily.
- Group study is helpful for GPAT preparation; you can quiz each other with Multiple Choice Questions.
- Although the GPAT examination is based on Multiple Choice Questions practice writing answers in your own words. This will help you check your understanding of the topic.
- Practice numericals, although there are not many numerical problems in the exam paper, regular practice will score you easy marks on the 3-4 numerical questions that do come in the question paper.
- The most effective way to prepare is by practicing sample papers/previous year papers.
- Attempt all the questions when you practice sample papers/previous year papers and correct them after you complete the entire paper. This will help you identify your weak areas and you can study those areas thoroughly.
- During the exam skip any question you are not sure of to avoid negative marking.
