College: The college is under Anna University and the education in the college is best for all the students and the placements are also provided to the students.

College: I have done my degree in the economics subject and the college is under Madurai Kamaraj University and this college is best for the education and that is why they have goodwill.

Faculty: My college faculties were all great in the entire Madurai city.
College: I have done my degree in the English subject and this is a government college affiliated with the Madurai Kamaraj University and the fee I don’t remember that was also very low.
Exam: Based on School / 12th Class Result

College: Good faculties, good infrastructure, great atmosphere.

College: Fine with teaching but should improve in placement activities.

Overview of The American College

Placement: I joined the college in 2015, I will be graduating this month. To be since iI don’t have idea on placement, internship. But I know that from time to time they do bring notice of job opportunities in different places.
Faculty: I don’t believe in best or favourite teacher, however I always respect two professors, The Head of Postgraduate Department of English(Aided) for his simplicity and the Head of Department of English UG and Mphil Head for his method of teaching.
College: The American College believes in "freedom with responsibility". One thing about this college is the student autonomy, everyone is valued and respected for who they are. American College offers opportunity to bring out the best in each individual. The fun part of the College is not just the cultural activities, but the relationship with faculties and students in the classroom. Students are given freedom to be responsible. An anonymous quote states "the best growth is self growth." I’m an international student in the Postgraduate department of English(SF), since I joined the college I have no reason to regret. My HOD, Dr. Paul Jayakar is just so friendly, always willing to help his students. I am the type that do not believe in best professor, however this review will be incomplete without mentioning two persons, Prof Elango, Head of the Postgraduate Department of English(Aided), he is such a calm and gentle person, his office is always open, he is always ready to teach you in and out of class. Dr. John Sekar, Head of Department of English UG and Mphil Head. I like his method of teaching, he always tell us that he is a Post modern teacher, and that is what he is. His humour keeps the class warm and am sure many people will say the same thing. Studying in American College is a privilege. The college has what is takes to host you for undergraduate and postgraduate program, what you need is to be responsible within the duration of study. For those that loves freedom, American College is the right place, for those that loves creativity, American College is the right place, for those that loves to be responsible, American College is the right place, but for those that are lazy and unwilling to stand on their own, American College has nothing for you. If you must be a student of the college you must learn and love two things. First, you must love the college as you love yourself and finally you must be ready to be a legend. Here in the college we don’t stoop for low opportunities, we stoop to conquer. So American College students are fighters, we are stars, we are winners, we are not victims, we are not losers. As many that wants to join the college, dust your shoes and bags, it’s a time for adventure. You must also know that no place is perfect, American College has their limitations too, since it’s a place you grow on your own, if you are not ready to be a man or a woman while in college, you will graduate remaining a boy or a girl. The college is not for everyone though it is open for all. So be wise while you choose your college, remember the future starts from the College.
