An MBA in Digital and Telecom Management hones both managerial and technical abilities in students, empowering them to meet the challenges of the future industry. This, in return, helps in diminishing the lack of professionals in this domain by making students industry-ready
Exam: Firstly, you need to give SNAP exam and also apply for SIDTM from snaptest.org website. Once the results are out if you are shortlisted you will be receiving a mail to appear for next two rounds which are GE-PIWAT.
Group Exercise (GE): 10 Marks
Personal Interaction (PI) : 30 Marks
Written Ability Test (WAT): 10 Marks
Total: 100 Marks.

Placement: SIDTM is proud to have hosted companies from varied sectors like Telecom, IT/ITES, Consulting, E-Commerce, Market Research, Marketing, and Analytics for placements.
If we talk about the batch 2019-21, the highest stipend offered was Rs 80,000 and the students of the batch completed their internships in the virtual mode. Also, for the batch 2020-22, the summer placements are going and the highest stipend offered so far is Rs 1,60,000.
You can expect job profiles like Business Analyst, Project Managers, Cybersecurity consultant, Internal audit, IT Advisory, Sales, Digital Marketing, Business Development, and Business Associate, etc., just to name a few.
The highest final placement for the batch was 19.42 LPA and the average for the top 50 students stands at 12.06 LPA.
Faculty: The faculties are very experienced and have a rich exposure to the industry to help the students understand the concepts better.

SIDTM is a pioneer institute in the field of Telecom Management in the entire SAARC region. SIDTM (Formerly SITM) offers a two-year full-time program with three dual-specializations namely Systems and Finance, Marketing and Finance, and Analytics and Finance, with Finance being a minor in all three specializations.
Keeping in mind the ever-changing nature of the industry, the curriculum at SIDTM is very unique and is designed in such a way that the students remain in high demand in this digitally driven era.
I believe that the curriculum is a perfect balance of technical and business aspects, and it is this technology quotient that acts as a differentiator between SIDTM and any other B-School.
Exam: Aspirants need to appear for SNAP and the students who clear the cutoff for college are called for the GEPIWAT process.

Placement: SIDTM (Formerly SITM) offers a fine blend of technology and management education to its students that aims at bringing excellent career for the last 24 years. The institute has nearby 100% placement record for eligible students since inception (1996). Companies from various domains like IT, consulting, Market Research etc. visits the campus.
Faculty: The program structure ,courses, academic curriculum and examination process is continuously upgraded. In order to address the existing needs of the industry. The faculty is well qualified and experienced. The teachers are very supportive and always ready to help the students. Various teaching methodologies like case studies, corporate lectures, industrial visits, research projects, group learning, workshops, seminars etc. are adopted tp provide holistic development to the students.
College: Being a student at Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management, Pune, I can proudly say that it is one of the best institutes for someone who wants to gain an edge over other B School graduates. Hailing from a Commerce background and being a fresher, I was quite unsure if I would be able to cope up with the curriculum and compete with my peers. But after being a part of SIDTM, I have realized that the institute provides equal opportunities to all students irrespective of the educational background they come from. The institute is committed to aligning its vision to the current industry needs and aims at developing managers who can adapt to the ever-evolving business landscape will ease. The past few months at SIDTM have been extremely enriching and rewarding. It’s just been a few months into the curriculum and I already see myself growing on a personal as well as on a professional front.
Exam: The Admission at SIDTM is based on SNAP score and GEPIWAT( Group Exercise, Personal Interview, Writing Ability Test) score. 50% weightage is given to SNAP score while 50% to GEPIWAT score.

An edge over regular MBA
Placement: The placement rate is 100% in our college. The highest salary package offered was 19.42 LPA. The average salary package offered was 9.37 LPA. Mostly roles of techno-managerial were offered to students. Companies mostly of IT and consulting visit our campus for placements. There is a place com in our college that act as an interface between corporates and students.
Faculty: The Faculty at SIDTM, is a rich blend of knowledge and experience, helping the students inculcate the required skills to face the ever-competitive corporate world.
Our Distinguished faculty provides us with real-life examples in the form of industry use cases, role plays, simulations, and interactive classroom discussions, which pushes students to think critically and out of the box.
As students come from diverse professional backgrounds, bridge courses on telecom and finance are offered so that the students are on the same page when the curriculum starts.
The faculty is very student-friendly; they cater to the basic doubts of the students.
The faculty is up to date with the current industry changes and hence the curriculum is aligned accordingly.
The faculty not only helps the students with industry-relevant skills but also, teaches them basic morals and values, to be a good human being.
College: Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management(SIDTM) established in 1996 is one of the oldest telecom management institutes in India. SIDTM concentrates on providing the best quality of teaching from excellent faculty with most of them having 15+ years of experience. The method of teaching is fabulous with theoretical as well as maximum exposure to real-time industrial scenarios by guest lectures from industry experts.
Exam: In order to qualify for the selection process of SIDTM (Formerly SITM) the candidate is required to:
Step 1: Appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), which is scheduled for 15th December 2019. For more details, refer to the website www.snaptest.org
Step 2: After the SNAP test result is declared, candidates who have applied, registered, and paid for SIDTM (Formerly SITM) will be shortlisted and called for GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test), which will be held in Pune.
Note: It is mandatory for a student to apply for SNAP and Register for SIDTM (Formerly SITM) to be shortlisted for SITM (Formerly SITM).
Weightage of Distribution of Marks :
SNAP Test : 50 %
Group Exercise : 10%
Personal Interaction : 30%
Writing Ability Test : 10%
