Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) is a constituent college of Symbiosis International (deemed) University that commenced its establishment in 1978. SIBM Pune has been consistently ranked among the top MBA colleges in India.
- The institute received rankings of six in the Best Private B School in India category by Outlook for 2023 and 17 in the Management category by NIRF 2022.

SIBM Pune Courses
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Admissions is conducted both online and offline. Merit and the results of entrance tests are used to determine admission to various courses. The college provides students with a variety of courses at the PG level, including a two-year MBA (residential and full-time), a 30-month Executive MBA, and others. Students may also enrol in certificate programmes and other classes at the college. There are about five specialisations available for the two-year, full-time, residential MBA programme.
SIBM Pune offers postgraduate courses in management; MBA, EMBA, MBA (Innovation & Entrepreneurship) and part-time PGDBM. The basic eligibility of the course is graduation in any discipline with 50% marks.

SIBM Pune Scholarships
SIBM Pune offers merit-based PG scholarships to the top 25 ranked containers in the open category of the SNAP examination. The students who get selected for the MBA program are awarded a scholarship of INR 5 lakh. The scholarship for the first semester is given to the SNAP toppers, and for the following semesters, it is based on the academic performance of the student, with a minimum GPA of 3 made in the preceding semester.
Apart from this, the university also offers various prominent scholarship programs to entitled students. The Malhotra Weikfield Foundation Scholarship is available for MBA-IB students, while the alumni scholarship is awarded to the first and second-rank holders in MBA-IB. The Jayatee Deshmukh PG Scholarship is available for girl students, and outstanding sports persons can also avail of scholarships.

Placement: For the regular MBA course, there are plenty of big companies which recruit students from SIBM every year. We have student councils taking care of the relations with the companies and it is getting better and better every year. But what really matters is the quality students that SIBM produces every year which automatically attacts big companies and corporates.
Faculty: Dr. Aravind Chinchure
He has been the coordinator of Innovation batch and he has structured the entire course. He is an eminent faculty respected at SIBM for his great work and wisdom till date and he has been ghe mentor of my startup since the beginning. Apart from this what makes him special is his practical knowledge of every industry and his courteous and humble nature of always helping students.
College: SIBM has given me the perfect platform to foster my skills into real world solutions by providing right opportunity. SIBM has a great culture of sharing knowledge and leaving a legacy behind and because of its big alumni network, it has been able to provide right opportunities and exposure.
