St Joseph's College of Engineering, Chennai Admission
St. Joseph's College of Engineering works under the aegis of St. Joseph's Educational Trust. The college is affiliated to the Anna University and offers programs at undergraduate and postgraduate level. These courses are offered in the fields of Engineering, Administration, and Computers. Minimum Educational Qualification
For undergraduate programs
The college offers B. E. and B. Tech programs at the undergraduate level. These programs are offered under several specializations.
- Candidates seeking admission to B. E. and B. Tech must have passed senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories are required to hold at least 40% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates must secure a valid score in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Test (TNEA).
For postgraduate programs
St. Joseph's College of Engineering offers M. E., M. Tech, MBA and MCA programs at the postgraduate level with several specializations.
- For admission to M. E. and M. Tech, the candidates must possess a B. E./B. Tech degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- For admission to MBA, the candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university.
- Candidates seeking admission to MCA must have graduated and should have studied Mathematics as a main subject in senior secondary school.
Admission to B. E. and B. Tech at St. Joseph's College of Engineering
The admission procedure of each program offered by the college varies from one another. In some cases, the candidates are shortlisted base on their performance in the entrance examination conducted, while in some cases, the candidates are shortlisted based on the merit in qualifying examination.
- For admission to B. E. and B. Tech, the candidates must hold a valid score in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) examination conducted at the state level.
- Candidates who qualify the examination are then required to appear in the counseling process conducted at the college.
Admission to M. E., M. Tech, MBA, and MCA at St. Joseph's Engineering College
Candidates seeking admission to the postgraduate programs offered by the college are required to follow a certain set of guidelines defined by the university.
- Candidates who fulfill the minimum educational qualification required by the university must appear in TNEA conducted by the university in order to take admission to M. E. and M. Tech programs.
- Candidates with a valid score in GATE examination are also eligible to apply for admission.
- For admission to MBA and MCA, the candidates must hold a valid score in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).
- Candidates who hold a valid score in the national level aptitude test like CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT are also eligible for admission to the MBA program.

A College worth Joining!!
Placement: We have to go for internships at the end of each year. Placements are good but most of them in IT and less in core.

Stay away from this hell
Placement: They force students to pay for the placement training . Also they never support students for internships.th3y threaten to reduce internal marks.

Faculty: Almost all Faculties are kind and clarify doubts friendly. Teaching is excellent. Most of them are Ph.D holders or pursuing Ph.D
