Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology is an autonomous institution that has earned a distinguished reputation in the field of education for the past decade. 

In 2008, Sri Sairam Institute of Technology was established in accordance with Shri Shirdi Sai Baba’s blessing. The institution aimed to provide quality technical education to students from both urban and rural areas in Tamil Nadu and other states. In 2009, the Business Administration department was established to offer a Postgraduate Programme in Management and Business Administration.

The institution is affiliated with Anna University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It takes pride in its ISO 9001:2015 certification and has been accredited with an "A+" grade and CGPA of 3.30 by the Executive Committee of NAAC. Additionally, five departments (CSE, MECH, IT, EEE, ECE) have received a 3-year accreditation from the NBA Expert Team. Furthermore, the institution achieved a ranking within the 150 to 200 bandwidth in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the year 2018-2019 (all over India) by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India. Over the years, the institution has experienced tremendous growth, offering eight Undergraduate Engineering Programs, two Postgraduate Programs, and one Postgraduate Management Program.

Additionally, the cell supports students preparing for competitive exams, higher studies, and foreign languages.
