Candidates must have completed the 10+2+3 pattern of study also have passed grades X and XII of the UG Degree Examination of the UGC-approved Universities in any one of the school subjects provided by the Directorate of School Education of the Secondary / Higher Secondary Education Level, and passed the X and XII examinations administered by the relevant State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education. candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% of the possible points on the UG degree test. The candidate must have an acceptable TET (Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test) score.
