About the college
National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi was established in 2010 by Jharkhand State Assembly, Act No. 4. The university became officially functional when Prof AK Koul as its first vice chancellor enrolled its first batch of students holding the strength of 48 students.
The college offers a complete 5-year course of integrated B.A.(Hons.)& L.L.B (Hons.) 3 year integrated L.L.M PhD and PhD of 2 years.

NLU Ranchi offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. NUSRL offers UG-level BA LLB (Hons). NUSRL Ranchi also provides PG courses in LLM including Ph.D law is offered at a doctoral level.

B.Com LLB(Hons) Applications Open

In order to get admission in NLU Ranchi, students need to clear an entrance-exam. The university counts the score in CLAT exam followed by CLAT Counseling for admission to NLU Ranchi courses. Interested candidates can register themselves online for the courses of their choice.
Candidates applying for the LLM programme in NLU Ranchi are required to have a LLM degree with a passing score of minimum 55%

Step1- Candidates interested in seeking admission must visit the official website of the university
Step 2- From the official website, interested candidates can download the NUSRL admissions application Form
Step 3- Interested candidates need to fill the application form with the necessary details
Step 4- Along with the necessary details, interested candidates also need to attach self-attested photocopies of the supporting documents.
Step 5-After completion of the form, students must pay the NUSRL application fee.
Step 6-Candidates must keep a copy of the payment of the receipt carefully.
Step 7-The last step of completion of the admission process is the submission of the NUSRL admission form.
