Nanak Chand Anglo Sanskrit College was formed in 1952 by the Nanak Chand Trust, which was established in 1903 in honor of Pandit Nanak Chand, a philosopher and visionary endowed with a unique combination of wisdom, wealth, and the will to work for nation-building. The institution's name and emblem, Stayam Shivam and Sundram, are profoundly based on Indian philosophy, which seeks to promote beneficial growth in all directions. NAS College Admission to the programs offered by the college depends on candidates' performance in the last qualifying examination. For admission to the postgraduate programs, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant field, and for admission to undergraduate programs, candidates must have passed the 12th class from a recognized board.
