Management Development Institute - (MDI), Gurgaon Admission
MDI Gurgaon offers admission to two-year full-time PGDM/PGDM-HRM/PGDM-BA besides PGDM-IB programs. Admission to the PGDM programs depends on merit in the CAT/GMAT examination. Additionally, MDI Gurgaon offers admission to Executive PGDM programs across three specializations. Admission to these Executive PGDM plans is based on merit in the CAT/GMAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT examination. Besides, students have the opportunity to enrol in the fellowship program running at MDI Gurgaon.
GMAT examination is mandatory for foreign residents, NRIs, and PIOs seeking admission at MDI Gurgaon. NRI candidates are required to pay an application fee of INR 8,496 at MDI Gurgaon. How do you prepare for admission to MDI PGDM (BM)?
The following are the prominent features of the PGDM (BM) admission criteria, as underlined by MDI Gurgaon, for its batch commencing in 2024.
Candidates seeking admission to the MDI PGDM (BM) program must appear for the CAT or XAT entrance exam. Shortlisting applicants for the selection process will be done based on the details in the application form and their CAT or XAT scores. The selection course for the PGDM-BM batch will be conducted in two rounds. The applicants would be accepted based on their exam score in Round 1, for which the PI rounds are scheduled for January of the price year.
Applicants put on after January based on CAT or XAT scores will be shortlisted in Round 2 of the MDI admission process, for which the PI process will be conducted in 1st week of April of the price year tentatively. The MDI PGDM (BM) selection process may also be shown online through Zoom, for which the shortlisted candidates will be slippery in advance.
MDI Gurgaon charge is made after verification of all the documents besides the fee payment.
Successful applicants active in the admission process of Round 1 will be made a provisional offer for admission at the end of January of the admission year done the round 1 admission process.
Similarly, MDI will provide a provisional charge offer to the successful applicants through Round 2 in the first week of April 2024. The selected interviewees must submit the first installment of the fee by the given deadline, weakening which their offer of admission would be withdrawn, short of any further intimation. Selection Criteria for Self-Sponsored / Sponsored Candidates: The sponsored interviewees should have a valid CAT/ XAT score to be eligible for the charge to the MDI PGDM-BM Programme.
- Selection Criteria for International Applicants: Foreign NRI or PIO applicants are measured as eligible for admission based on their valid GMAT scores. Government of India (GOI) rules will be followed linked to the admission of these categories of candidates.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM-BA Admission Process 2024
MDI Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Business Administration) is designed for Working Professionals to be inherent in or working in & around NCR. The course duration is two years. Candidates interested in PGDM-BA must have a Bachelor's Degree through 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th & Graduation, and a Minimum of 5 Years of Policymaking Work Experience.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM-BA Selection Criteria:
Candidates are nominated based on their CAT MAT or XAT scores. Shortlisted candidates are called for Personal Interviews for Final Selection by the Institute.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM-PPM Eligibility Criteria
- The applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks or corresponding CGPA in classes X and XII.
- The applicants must have acquired a three-year bachelor's degree through at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any recognized university/ institute.
- A minimum of 5 years post-qualification executive exertion experience is required as of March 31 of the charge year.

- Candidates seeking admission to the PGDM-PPM program in MDI Gurgaon must appear for the CAT or XAT entrance test.
- Further, the Institute will issue a shortlist of Candidates selected based on the Entrance Test.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Meetings in July 2024.
- Successful candidates will be well-versed in their Final Selection in July 2024.

MDI Gurgaon FPM / EFPM Admission 2024
MDI Gurgaon's FPM program in management was happening to provide knowledge for the scholarly needs of the management industry. The Institute offers two Fellow courses.

MDI Gurgaon FPM Financial Assistance
FPM scholarship will be given for a maximum of four years for non-MBA students and three years for MBA students.
- For the first two years, the scholarship will be Rs.30,000/- per month; for the remaining duration, it will be Rs.35,000/- per month.
- In addition, a total contingency grant of Rs.80,000/- and a conference grant of Rs.2,50,000/- shall be provided to FPM scholars.
- MDI mainly provides contingency & conference grants to support their book purchases, fieldwork, research paper presentations, etc.
