The KKR and KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS Guntur), also known as KITS, has concluded the 2024 cutoff process with the release of the AP EAMCET Round 1 Seat Allotment Result. The cutoff ranks are important as they determine the eligibility of candidates for admission to various B.Tech and BE courses offered by the institute. The cutoff ranks essentially reflect the minimum rank a candidate must achieve to be eligible for seat allotment in a particular course and category.
For the 2024 academic year, the cutoff ranks for KITS Guntur’s BE/BTech courses for General category students ranged significantly, from 29,026 to 151,721. This means that if you are a General category candidate, your rank should fall within this range to be considered for a seat in the institute. The wide range of cutoff ranks reflects the competition and demand for various courses offered by the college. While some engineering streams may have higher demand and therefore higher cutoff ranks, others with lower competition might have relatively lower cutoff ranks.
Among the different specializations available at KITS Guntur, the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) and Data Science were found to be the most sought-after courses in the General Home State category. These courses have seen a higher influx of applicants, driven by the growing interest in fields related to AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. As a result, the cutoff ranks for these specializations were on the higher end of the spectrum.
