JNMPG, Barabanki Overview
Jawaharlal Nehru PG College (JNMPG), Barabanki commenced its establishment in 1964, in the memory of Late Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. The college is a private educational institution and is affiliated with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University. College offers different Aided and Self-Finance Courses in undergraduate and postgraduate level followed with professional courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management streams. JNMPG College also offers distance learning programmes in IGNOU and UPRTOU, which allows the students to fit their learning around their work and home life.
Besides a robust teaching pedagogy, Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Post Graduate College is also a leader in research and innovation. Some of the facilities they provide are a library, computer lab, sports, NCC, and NSS.

Jawahar Lal Nehru PG College Barabanki Admission process:
- Admission process is done on the basis of merit.
- Cut off marks in the qualifying examination, fixed annually according to the admission committee.
- The application form is to be submitted online.
- Admission may or may not be followed by counselling.
- After the counselling with the admission panel, the candidates, along with parents /guardians have to make the payment of a fee.
- If a candidate fails to complete the admission processes within a given time period then he/she will not be given admission.
- All admission is subject to approval from Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University.
