Latest Updates at IIT Ropar Cutoff: IIT Ropar cutoff 2024 will be announced following each round of JoSAA counselling for admission to BTech and Integrated BTech programs. The IIT Ropar JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 will be made public as the starting and finishing ranks for each category's AI Quota. The administration of JEE Main Counseling in six rounds by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is set in June. The JoSAA Counseling process is required after the JEE Advanced score for admission to the IIT Ropar BTech program 2024. The IIT Ropar cutoff 2023 has ended for all courses for the 2023–2024 academic year. Below are a few more IIT Ropar-related updates:
- The IIT JAM 2024 cutoff for Round 1 will be made public on 31st May, 2024 and online payments for seat reservations must be made by 4th June, 2024.
- It is anticipated that the GATE COAP 2024 Round 2 offer will be made public on 20th May, 2024 (10 AM).
- The JEE Main Session 2 results are available. On the official NTA website, candidates can log in to view and download their results.
The date of the IIT Ropar JEE Advanced 2024 Exam is 26th May, 2024. - Registration for IIT Ropar JoSAA Counseling is anticipated to open tentatively on 10th June, 2024.
About IIT Ropar Cutoff:
The JEE Advanced 2024 exam will take place on May 26, 2024. IIT Ropar Cutoff’s expected cutoff for JEE Advanced 2024 for B.Tech CSE admission is 600-670 in the General Category. Last year, the closing rank for CSE was 654. The expected cutoff for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program through UCEED 2024 is an opening rank of 70 and a closing rank 86 in the General Category.
For M.Tech admissions through GATE 2024 at IIT Ropar, the expected cutoff ranges from 750 in Round 1 to 1000 in the Last Round. In the case of M.Sc programs through IIT JAM 2024 at IIT Ropar, the expected cutoffs are as follows:
The expected opening rank for Mathematics and Computing is 6 with a closing rank of 51, for Chemistry, the expected cutoff is 76 to 275; and for Physics, the opening rank is anticipated to be 140 while the closing rank is 252.
These cutoff ranks provide a guideline for prospective applicants aiming to secure admission to these programs at IIT Ropar. The actual cutoffs will be released by the respective authorities after the counseling process is completed.
IIT Ropar Cutoff 2024: Expected Cutoff
IIT Ropar Cutoff’s expected cutoff for JEE Advanced 2024 for the B.Tech admission is mentioned below. Last year, the B.Tech CSE closing rank was 654 for the General Category. IIT Ropar Cutoff 2024 - JEE Main Session 2 Result (Out)
The JEE Main Session 2 results are now available. NTA has also released the JEE Main percentile in addition to the results. Applicants may move on to the JEE Advanced admissions round if they meet the JEE Main cutoff percentile. JoSAA round-by-round counseling will start for those who make the JEE Advanced cutoff on 10th June, 2024. To appear in the JEE Advanced 2024 exam, the JEE Main cutoff percentiles for 2024 are tabulated below:

IIT Ropar JEE Advanced Cutoff 2023 - Round 1 and Last Round Cutoff Ranks
The IIT Ropar cutoff 2023 was completed after Round 6 of JoSSA Counseling. The IIT Ropar JEE Advanced cutoff for 2023 was released for a number of specializations. B.Tech. programs in data engineering and computer science emerged as the most competitive, given their previous round of closing ranks. The final round closing rank for the General All India category students in the IIT Ropar B.Tech. in CSE cutoff of 2023 was 1859; in 2022, it was 1883; and in 2021, it was 1876. IIT Ropar observed a fluctuating trend for B.Tech. students enrolled in CSE courses after analyzing the Round 6 closing rank for the previous three years.
The IIT Ropar OBC cutoff for the AII India Quota was 993 in 2021, 1089 in 2022, and 901 in 2023 for the B.Tech in CSE. Thus, during the previous three years, the institute saw a fluctuating trend for B.Tech. in CSE students belonging to the OBC category.
