IIM Udaipur Placements 2024: Check Highest Package of INR 47 LPA and Top Recruiters

IIM Udaipur Placements 2024: The placement report for 2024-25 for IIMU is out and shows a very positive trend. The largest recruitment surge was observed in the BFSI ( Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) department. Consulting and Strategy was offered the 2nd largest number of roles, while the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development cohorts ranked 1st. A total of 291 out of 313 students were placed via campus and the others opted out of placement for varied reasons such as entrepreneurship and family commitments.

As per sector cutoff, the BFSI sector leads with 87 placements, while the ITES sector placed 67 candidates, followed by the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Energy sectors with 44 placements. Sales and Marketing roles were most highly placed with 89 roles and Consulting and Strategy followed with 49 roles. General Management roles gained popularity and had 47 placements in the same. 

According to the job locations the placements could be marked in the top 3 positions. Most placements were from Mumbai, marking 45 placements, followed by 44 placements to Bangalore and 28 to Gurugram. A couple of startups as well as a considerable number of well-established, thriving companies as well as market giants collectively made the placements a success for the past year.

IIM Udaipur Placements 2024 Quick Highlights:

• The placements this time included 108 companies coming for placement out of which, about 25 companies were first-time recruiters.
• About 27% of the current batch received their PPIs or PPOs during their summer internship and other extracurricular events and competitions. 
• The average placements were 18.8LPA and the highest went to 47LPA.

IIM Udaipur Placements 2024 Highlights

IIM Udaipur has recorded a 100% placement in MBA GSCM and MBA DEM. It has received the highest salary package of INR 47 LPA. The total number of recruiters visited for the placement drive was 108.

• IIM Udaipur has 315 students during the 2023-25 MBA Batch Placement.
• 303 Students applied for the Placement through Campus.
• 12 Students did not choose campus placement options.

IIM Udaipur Placements 2024: Sector-wise

• The highest number of MBA placements in 2024 was made in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector followed by  ITES and Manufacturing, Engineering, and Energy.

• IIM Udaipur Placements 2023 has recorded the highest number of offers in the Sales & Marketing / Business Development department followed by Consulting and Strategy.
• The Total number of offers made during the placement is 303 out of which 89 offers were made for the Sales and Marketing / Business Development.

IIM Udaipur Location-wise Placement 2024 has recorded no placement outside the country. However, in 2022 placement 4 students had received overseas job offers.

• The Highest number of Job offers was provided for the Mumbai location followed by Bangalore and Gurugram.
• The total number of Job offers provided for the Mumbai Location is 45.

Stipend might be slightly below one’s expectations, but given the current industry trends, it’s not that bad. Same goes for placements. I’m in my first year, but from what I hear from seniors, the roles offered are good, it’s just that not being in a top league IIM gives you a little handicap.
