IIM Lucknow (Noida Campus) Admissions 2024
The admission process at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) Noida Campus is designed to ensure a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation of candidates across its various programs. The institute offers a range of courses including the Post Graduate Programme (PGP), Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (ABM), Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), as well as executive and short-term programs. For the PGP and PGP-ABM programs, candidates are initially shortlisted based on their valid percentile in the Common Admission Test (CAT). The final selection for these programs involves a two-step process, which includes a Written Ability Test (WAT) and a Personal Interview (PI). This approach helps assess candidates' writing skills and their suitability for the programs through in-depth interviews For the executive programs, IIM Lucknow Noida Campus accepts a variety of test scores including CAT, GRE, GATE, GMAT, and PGPWE (Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives) scores. This flexibility allows candidates from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to apply. In the case of the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), the institute considers scores from multiple exams including GATE, GRE, GMAT, and JRF/SRF (UGC/CSIR/ICAR). However, for the final selection to the FPM, candidates are evaluated solely on their performance in the Personal Interview (PI). This final stage focuses on assessing the candidate’s research potential and alignment with the program's objectives.
IIM Lucknow PGP Admission 2025
The Post Graduate Programme (PGP) at IIM Lucknow is a full-time, two-year course designed to provide a comprehensive business education. Interested candidates can choose from three specializations:
- PGP
- PGP in Agribusiness Management (ABM)
- PGP in Sustainability Management (SM)
Eligibility Criteria:
- For admission to the PGP program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. Those currently in their final year of undergraduate studies or those who have completed their degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. However, meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting for the next stages of the admission process.
- The PGP-ABM program requires candidates to have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Science, Agricultural Engineering, or related fields such as Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture Biochemistry, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Entomology, and Plant Pathology. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (following a 4-year course plus 10+2 or post-B.Sc. or diploma) or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the MHRD/AICTE is also acceptable. Any other equivalent Bachelor’s Degree Qualification recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, is also considered.
IIM Lucknow Fellow Programmes Admission 2025
IIM Lucknow offers two distinguished Fellow Programmes which are full-time and span four years, designed to nurture and develop advanced research skills in management. The programs are
- Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)
- Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM)
The FPM is aimed at individuals seeking to deepen their research expertise, while the EFPM caters to experienced professionals looking to enhance their academic and research capabilities. Admission to these programs requires candidates to have valid scores from CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, or JRF/SRF (UGC/CSIR/ICAR). The final selection is based on entrance test scores and performance in the Personal Interview (PI).
Eligibility Criteria
- For the FPM, candidates must hold a Master’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 60% marks or equivalent grade average, or those with professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA, or CS, also with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks, are eligible to apply.
- The EFPM program is designed for candidates with substantial professional experience. Applicants should have completed their Secondary and Senior Secondary education with at least 55% marks (45% for reserved categories). For non-engineering graduates, a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) or equivalent CGPA in graduation and a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in post-graduation are required. Engineering graduates must have at least 65% marks or equivalent CGPA. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of work experience as of March 31, 2025.
IIM Lucknow FPM/EFPM Admission Stages
Following are the stages in which the admission process will be carried out for the FPM/EFPM program at IIM Lucknow:

Stage 4: Final Selection | Candidates will finally be selected for the program based on their performance in the previous stages and academic/scholastic performance and any relevant work experience. |
IIM Lucknow Executive Programs Admission 2025
IIM Lucknow offers a robust suite of executive programs designed for working professionals. Among these, the Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE), formerly known as the Working Managers' Programme (WMP), stands out as a prominent option. This program is structured to span two years and is delivered on a full-time basis. Additionally, the institute offers the International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX), providing further specialization opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria:
The admission process for these executive programs requires candidates to meet specific eligibility criteria and undergo a selection process based on entrance test scores. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline or an equivalent academic qualification (i.e., 10+2+3) with a minimum of 50% marks. In addition, a valid GMAT score, taken within the last five years, is required. Alternatively, scores from CAT, GRE, or GATE are also acceptable. Candidates must also have a minimum of three years of full-time post-qualification managerial or professional experience.
