IIM Ahmedabad offers a two-year postgraduate program i.e. MBA which is a full-time course for graduates. This program is rated as the toughest MBA program in the world to get admission. It offers a detailed and comprehensive course to the students that equips them with the required interpersonal skills and a sense of social purpose for managerial decision-making power. It also helps in developing leadership qualities and capabilities.
Every year, around 2 lacs students attempt the Common Admission Test to get admission into IIMs. IIMA selects around 20000 high scorer students which is the market's cream. Basically, the institution provides four basic types of courses under this program. These types include foundational courses, courses oriented to tools and techniques, Functional courses, and courses that provide perspective. Admission Procedure:
The admission in the IIM Ahmedabad for PGPM is done on the following basis:
- Qualifying Examination-CAT/GMAT
- Personal Interview
- Group Discussion
Minimum Eligibility:
The candidate seeking admission in the IIM Ahmedabad for PGPM should have done Bachelors from a recognized institute with at least 50% aggregate.

Best college To Study along with Personal development
Placement: Placements were excellent. IIM A has cluster system (with companies of same field arriving on same day), almost 40% of batch I guess had offers by the end of cluster 1 (I. e. Consulting & Finance firms), including PPOs and lateral offers. 100% of students got placed. The highest, the lowest and Average can’t be calculated since a number of companies don’t give salary details in the Job Description Forms. But the highest for domestic would definitely be more than or equal to 50 LPA. Around 100+ firms participated across Consulting, Finance, Marketing, General Management, Technology, and BFSI profiles. Consulting took maximum students, my guess would be ~ 100. 100% of students got internships as it is a mandatory requirement. Stipend details are not shared by companies, but the highest domestic will ~ 3.5 lacs. Yes, there is a placement cell. It is responsible for ensuring internships and placements for all interested students.

Placement: Placements are no doubt best here. The average salary is around 15-16 LPA and if totally depends on you what you are capable of.

While the majority of faculty members are exceptional, there may be occasional variations in teaching styles and effectiveness. Additionally, access to some professors for one-on-one guidance can be limited due to their busy schedules

Best college To Study along with Personal development
Faculty: Faculty is probably the best aspect of IIM A. They are well qualified and extremely knowledgeable. The fields of faculty members varies across Marketing, Finance, Public Policy, Economics, Information Systems. The teaching is completely case based and focuses on application of learned concepts. The scope of industry exposure is through internships or if someone wants to try their hands on a live project, there is a student body dedicated to pitching projects to be taken up by groups of students. Also, the incubation centre of IIM A is amongst the best in the country, if someone is interested in entrepreneurship.
