ICFAI Business School (IBS) Pune, Pune Admission
ICFAI Business School, Pune accepts the online mode of application. The admission procedure basically involves two parameters i.e. either qualifying of the entrance examination conducted by ICFAI University or merit in the last qualifying examination. The entrance examination conducted by the university is the IBSAT examination. IBS Pune offers BBA program at the undergraduate level and Postgraduate Program in Management (PGPM) and the entrance examination is conducted every year for admission to the PGPM program.

- Candidates seeking admission to either of the programs offered at the business school must qualify the requirements defined by the university.
- The basic eligibility required to apply for admission to BBA is to have passed senior secondary school.
- Admission to PGPM requires a bachelor’s degree in any field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- The final shortlisting is done based on candidates’ performance in the entrance examination along with a Micro Presentations and personal interview round conducted by the university.

Admission Procedure of IBS Pune
Admission to BBA
IBS Pune Courses offer BBA program at the undergraduate level. Interested candidates are shortlisted based on the merit in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates seeking admission to BBA program are shortlisted based on their performance in the last qualifying examination.
- IBS Pune Cut off/ IBS Pune Merit decides the admission of students to BBA.
Eligibility Criterion
- Admission to the BBA Program requires a pass in senior secondary school in English medium securing at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Admission to PGPM
ICFAI Business School Pune offers 2-year full time PGPM program at the postgraduate level. The candidates must qualify the entrance examination conducted.
- Candidates seeking admission to the PGPM must qualify IBSAT Entrance Examination followed by the Personal Interview and Micro Presentations round conducted by the university.
- Candidates with a valid score in CAT/GMAT/NMAT entrance examinations are also eligible to apply for admission to PGPM.
- IBSAT Entrance Examination is an online aptitude test conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education.
Eligibility Criterion
For admission to the PGPM program, the candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

Application Procedure of IBS Pune
The application procedure must be completed online by visiting the official website of the university. Students must visit the official website and register themselves for further procedure.
- Visit the official website of IBS Pune.
- Proceed further by clicking on Apply icon.
- Fill the personal and official details and make sure that the details filled in by them are correct as any incorrect detail may lead to cancelation of the candidature.
- The candidates must process the payment of INR 1800 as application fee via any online mode of payment such as Credit card, Debit card, or net banking.
Selection Procedure:
A Micro-Presentation in Selection process is a brief talk or presentation where candidates demonstrate their communication, presentation skills, and ability to think quickly on their feet. Candidates have the opportunity to select one topic out of three. The format allows for 4 minutes in total: 1 minute for preparation and 3 minutes for delivering the presentation.
The Personal Interview is an important part of the Selection Process. Each candidate will be interviewed for 5-7 minutes. The interview panel will focus on assessing the attitude and aspirations of the candidates besides evaluating their General Knowledge, communication skills, clarity of thought and expression, as well as aptitude for a career in management.

Eligibility
2 year Management Program (MBA/PGPM):
- Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks with medium of instruction as
English. - All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (on 10+2+3 or
10+2+4 basis). - Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to
submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31, 2025. - Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided
they complete their graduation requirements (including practical examinations / viva /
assignments) before May 31, 2025. The admission will remain provisional until they
produce marks sheets and degree certificates establishing their eligibility. The last date
for submission of proof of graduation is November 01, 2025. - Eligibility criteria checked from August 2025 onwards. Hence, the onus of ensuring that
they satisfy the eligibility criteria rests solely with the candidates.

- Online Application: Visit the application portal and complete the form.
- Personal and Contact Details: Enter your personal information and contact details.
- Confirmation: Submit your details to proceed to the payment page.
- Payment: Pay the application fee of Rs 1800.
- Receipt: After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email/SMS on your
- provided email address and phone number.
- Brochure: Within one week of completing the complete application, the applicants will
- receive a hard copy of the IBSAT Brochure.
