ADMISSION
Hindusthan College of Arts & Science (HICAS) pursues a holistic admission policy for all the
Programmes offered by the institution. A holistic admission policy seeks to understand the applicant
not only by marks secured but also ensures the applicant fulfills the required norms for admission in
to a programme. This is in keeping in view to suggest the applicant to select the programme suitable
for his career.
ADMISSION POLICY AND PROCESS:
Admissions will be carried out through online / offline mode
- Admission process will be as per the guidelines of Tamil Nadu Government /Bharathiar
University. - All the candidates seeking admission to the Undergraduate (UG)/ Postgraduate (PG)
Programmes are required to register online or can visit to the College and get registered. - Students who have got applications are requested to fill their marks and submit the
applications through online / offline mode after thoroughly checking the necessary details are
filled. - If any applicant is unable to submit the application in online, they can submit the hard copy
of the filled in application to the college. - Admission is made purely on the basis of merit, subject to the rules of reservation of the
Government of Tamil Nadu and Bharathiar University. - 50% of the seats will be filled as per the reservation policy stipulated by the regulatory bodies
and 50% of the seats will be filled through Management Quota. - Admission Committee will scrutinize the applications and will prepare the admission list.
- The applicants will be eligible to take admission in all the programmes provided they satisfy
the cut-off and the eligibility for the selected programme. - Applicants will be responsible for the authenticity of all the information they provide.
- Admissions will be considered to be complete only when the full fee for the academic year /
semester is paid (against an official receipt) and the name of the applicant appears on the
relevant rolls.
APPLICATION SUBMISSION PROCESS:
Step 1 : Visit to College
Visit to college office and can receive printed application for the desired programme.
Step 2 : Registration and Application Fee Payment
Give basic details and make application fee payment through cash and receive printed application.
Step 3 : Complete the Printed Application Form
Fill the application form and hand it over as per the instructions to the Admission office.
ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS
- Step 1 :Visit the Institution Website for online admission process
- Step 2 :Register using Click to Register and select the programme of your interest
- Step 3 :Choose Appropriate payment type and make payment for the selected application
- Step 4 :Generate Username* and Password**; Sign in using Login Credentials to apply for
additional Programme of your interest - Step 5 :The candidate can view the filled in applications
- Step 6 :Enter student personal and academic details in the menu
- Step 7 :Save the details and Logout
- Step 8 :Marks Details are to be filled once activated
- Step 9 :Submit the application form
- Step 10 :Online Application Process gets completed
Payment of fees to confirm admission:
- It is extremely important that applicant pay the fee within the timeframe
allocated, failing which it will be concluded that the applicant is not interested in the course
of study at the Institution and the admission will be automatically cancelled - .The applicant is advised to save the acknowledgement slip bearing transaction ID, Credit
Card/ Debit card/Netbanking details and date of transaction as a proof for future
reference. On successful payment of fees, the applicant is granted provisional admission to
the college.
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED
- List of Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission
- The following certificates in original have to be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission.
- Submission of filled in application form complete in all aspects.
- Front facing passport size recent photograph with plain background
- Community Certificate
- Age Proof (SSLC)
- Original mark statement issued by the examination authority
- Transfer Certificate received from the institution last studied
- Conduct Certificate
- Equivalency / Recognition Certificate (if applicable)
- Relevant certificate issued by competent authority if you are applying under any reserved
quota / special category - Migration Certificate
- Aadhaar Photocopy
- Any other documents (Nativity Certificate / Income / Community / Non-creamy layer
Certificate) as directed by the admitting authorities - One set of attested photocopies of the above certificates
