Admission 2024-25- Ganesh College Of Engineering (GCE, Salem)

Selection Procedure

A selection committee constituted by Ganesh College of Engineering will select the candidate for admission through management quota (Consortium).
Based on the selection, students are admitted to the institution. The admission is purely provisional and subject to approval from the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai / Anna University.

B.E/B.Tech Degree Programme - First Year

We admit all the students under the government quota allotted to finished single-window counseling by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).
We admit the students under the management quota based on the rank list published by the Association of Management of Anna University Affiliated Colleges.

B.E/B.Tech Degree Programme - Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)

We admit all students under the government quota allotted done single window counseling by DOTE - Direct II Year Engineering Admissions.
We admit the students under management quota based on the overall percentage of marks obtained by a student from 1st Semester to 6th Semester in the full-time Diploma (10+3 / 12+2) examination / B.Sc. with Mathematics at degree level or higher secondary level.

Eligibility

General

Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions given below as of the last date of application submission are eligible to apply. Only passing the qualifying examination after the last date of application submission shall be considered.

Nativity

(i) Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. They need not enclose a Nativity Certificate.
(ii) Tamil Nadu native candidates who have passed any VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII Std. or their equivalent examination from schools outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should enclose a copy of the Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate
(iii) Children of Central Government Employees may also apply for admission, irrespective of their native, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past FIVE YEARS at the time of submission of application, which should be supported by enclosing a certificate from the employer of the parent or guardian to that effect.

Srilankan Tamil Refugee

As per G.O. (St) No. 172 Higher Education (J2) Dept. dated 29.06.2010, candidates who are Srilankan Tamil refugees studied in Tamil Nadu will be considered under open competition. They must enclose the following: (i) Identification certificate from the Head Quarters Tahsildar. (ii)Those yet to register in the refugee camp should submit a copy of their passport, visa, and letter registered with the Police Station.

Ganesh College of Engineering, Salem Admission Open 2024-25

Ganesh College of Engineering Admission 2024 is open for all UG and PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The application fee for Ganesh College of Engineering is INR 1,000 to 2,500, depending on your chosen courses. Ganesh College of Engineering, Salem Scholarships are also provided to criteria-based deserving or qualifying students.
