College of Technology, Pantnagar was established in 1966 under the Uttar Pradesh and is now called Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology.
College of Technology, Pantnagar offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various streams under different departments. The courses offered by the college include B.Tech, M.Tech, M.C.A, Ph.D. The University accepts offline modes of application. Admission to UG Courses of College of Technology Pantnagar
College Of Technology Pantnagar courses include B.Tech at the undergraduate level.
- The University offers B.Tech in 8 different streams. The different specializations enable the students to choose the course according to their field of interest.
- Admission to B.Tech is based on the merit of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Admission to PG Courses of College of Technology Pantnagar
College Of Technology, Pantnagar offers M.Tech in 11 different specializations and MCA at the postgraduate level.
- Admission to M.Tech is given based on the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test Examination) score in the relevant field. Vacant seats shall be filled based on the percentage of marks of B.Tech.
- Admission to MCA is based on the results of the entrance examination conducted by the University.
Admission to Ph.D. Course of College of Technology Pantnagar
College of Technology also offers Ph.D. programs in 11 different streams of Engineering.
- Admission in this course is based on the entrance examination conducted by the GB Pant University.
Eligibility Criteria of College of Technology Pantnagar
- For admission to B.Tech, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with at least 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
- For admission to MCA, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a 50% score in each subject.
- The candidates must have a B.Tech degree from a recognized University for admission to M.Tech.
- For admission to Ph.D., the students must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with 60% marks. 25% of seats are booked for students from other states than Uttarakhand.

- Click on the link of the GBPUAT application form and fill in all the required details.
- Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.
- Save the application form and take a printout of the form.
- Application fees can be paid via debit card/credit card/online banking. The application fee is Rs. 1200 for general/OBC and Rs. 600 for SC/ST.
