Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), Coimbatore Courses and Fees Details
The autonomous government-aided engineering college known as Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) is situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The V. Rangaswamy Naidu Educational Trust founded it in 1956.
CIT is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated with Anna University. The National Board of Accreditation has granted the Institute accreditation and autonomous status since 1987.
In addition to M.S. and Ph.D. Research Programs, CIT offers 12 Post Graduate Academic Programs and 9 Undergraduate Academic Programs.
The Institute has visionary leadership and skilled, qualified faculty.
The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers’ Coimbatore Regional Centre conducts business out of the Institute’s Department of Chemical Engineering.
Since 1956, CIT has been one of South India’s most renowned and esteemed educational institutes. Mr. K. Krithivasan, a notable graduate of the Institute, has been named CEO-designate of Tata Consultancy Services.

Alternatively students with vocational subjects, Engineering or at least one subject from Math, Chemistry, and Physics is required. | ME | Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Applied Electronics, Communication Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science and Engineering, Embedded and Real-Time Systems, Environmental Engineering and Management, Heat Power Engineering and Structural Engineering | Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an AICTE-recognized institute. The minimum aggregate score required is 50% for the general category and 45% for the BC category, while the SC/ST/MBC/DNC category requires a minimum aggregate score of 40%. | 2 years |

| MCA | Lateral Entry and General | Applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an AICTE-recognized institute. | MSc Integrated | Nano Science and Technology | Candidates must have completed 10+2 .For Category A, the required subjects are Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Business Mathematics, Mathematics, and Statistics.
