Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida Admission
The Birla Institute of Management Technology is a graduate business school that was established in the academic year of 1998. The institute offers admission to postgraduate business programs. The candidates seeking admission to the programs offered must visit the official website of the institute. Since the institute offers programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the admission procedure varies from program to program.
The programs at BIMTECH are offered under various specializations. The candidates seeking admission can choose the field they wish to pursue their career in. Candidates, before applying, must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the university.
The Birla Institute of Management Technology Courses offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program at the undergraduate level, while Fellow Program in Management (FPM) and Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM) programs are offered at the postgraduate level. - Candidates applying for PGDM (RM) and PGDM (IBM) are required to have a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT.
- Candidates with a valid score in UGC-NET are also eligible to apply.
- The duration period for PGDM is two years.

BIMTECH FPM/ EFPM Admission 2025
- The candidates seeking admission must possess a Master's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- For admission, the candidates must appear and qualify CAT/GMAT or BIMTECH entrance examination.
- Candidates who happen to qualify for the above-mentioned examinations are shortlisted for the Personal Interview round conducted by the institute.
- Candidates with a valid score in UGC-NET are also eligible to apply.
- The duration period for the FPM or EFPM program is five years.

BIMTECH Noida Selection Criteria 2025
Birla Institute of Management Technology's admission process includes various weights for candidates from different categories. For the General Category, the weightage distribution is as follows: 30% for entrance exam percentiles (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT), 10% for past academic performance, and additional points for engineering or math backgrounds, work experience, and gender.
The BIMTECH's selection process involves an Extempore (5%) and a PI (25%) which totals 30%. For NRI/Sponsored Categories, the weightage is higher, with 50% allocated to the Extempore and Personal Interview combined. Other considerations include regional factors and specific weights for female candidates.

- Additional weightage for candidates who graduated from NIRF-ranked top 100 Colleges/ Universities/ Engineering Colleges (based on the previous year's ranking).
- Candidates will receive weightage for work experience only if they have held an executive or supervisory role for at least one year as of January 31, 2025, in a registered company with a turnover of Rs. 10 crores or more in the previous financial year (2023-24).
- Management may relax this requirement for candidates from start-ups, entrepreneurial ventures, or social organizations based on merit.
- To receive regional weightage, valid proof of residence is required. Acceptable documents include a domicile certificate from a competent authority or copies of a passport/Aadhar card.
BIMTECH Noida Application Procedure 2025
- Candidates seeking admission must register themselves by visiting the official website of the institute.
- They must fill out the application form making sure all the details filled in by them are correct as any incorrect detail may lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
- The payment of INR 1750 as an application fee is to be processed while filling out the form. The payment is to be made online by net banking, Debit card, or Credit card.

In the case of FPM or EFPM, after the result of the entrance examination is declared, the candidates are advised to appear in the personal interview round conducted by the institute.
