- Admission in Amala Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) is completely based on the NEET exam conducted at the national level for both UG and PG courses and on the last qualifying exam.
- Students who wish to get admission in AIMS Thrissur must have obtained a valid score and rank in NEET.
- Once they have a rank in NEET, they will be allotted seats in the college by the commissioner for entrance examination, Kerala.
- Admission in PG super specialty courses is decided by the Director General of Health Services (DGHS), New Delhi.
