Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Research Programmes in the field of Pharmacy. The college is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
Al Ameen College of Pharmacy courses include D Pharm, B Pharm, M Pharm, Pharm D, Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate), and PhD. The courses are mentioned below along with their eligibility criteria and seat intake:
The candidate must have passed two years Pre-University Course (PUC) examination of Karnataka PUC Board, OR
The candidate must have passed class XII from a recognized board with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks in PCM or PCB or PCMB or PC with Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Science/ Biotechnology, OR
The candidate who has already passed D.Pharm course approved by the Pharmacy Council of India will be provided admission in second B.Pharm course.
Admissions in D.Pharm, B.Pharm and Pharm.D are provided on the basis of merit i.e. the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying degree.
Relaxation of 10 percent is provided to the candidates of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category. The candidates of reserved category must possess a minimum of 35 percent aggregate in the qualifying degree.
The candidates who have qualified examination listed by the Association of Indian Universities can also apply for the B.Pharm course at Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy.
The candidate seeking admission in Under Graduate course must be born on or after December 31, 1993.
Admission in M.Pharm and Pharm.D:
The candidates seeking admission in Post Graduate courses must have passed B.Pharm degree from any university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
The candidate must possess a minimum of 55 percent aggregate in Graduation.
A relaxation of 5 percent is provided to the candidates of the Reserved Category.
Pharmacy teachers who hold B.Pharm degree from a university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and have 5 years of teaching experience must possess a minimum of 50 percent aggregate to apply for admission in Post Graduate courses.
Admission is provided on the basis of merit.
Admission in Ph.D.:
Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D. must qualify the mandatory Personal Interview round conducted by the college for selection of research scholars.
Candidate’s academic performance in Post Graduate degree will also be considered by the college.
Candidate must have passed Mater’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks from a college recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
