- The candidate seeking admission in MBA programme offered by Ahmedabad Institute of Technology must have completed Graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate.
- The MBA aspirant must have qualified any of the following Management Entrance Examination- CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT.
- A relaxation of 5 percent will be provided to the candidates of the reserved category for admission in various courses offered by Ahmedabad Institute of Technology.

Admission in B.E. Programmes:
- The institute offers B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Automobile, Computer, Information Technology and Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- Admission will be provided on the basis of engineering entrance examinations i.e. GUJCET and JEE Main.
- The candidate must have passed class XII from a recognized board with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subjects.
Admission in M.E. Programmes:
- The institute offers M.E. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
- The candidate must have passed B.E. or B.Tech. from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate.
- The candidate must have qualified either GATE or PGCET entrance examination.
- Final admissions would be provided after the counselling process that will be conducted by ACPC (Admission Committee of Professional Courses).
