The Advocate Datta Patil College of Law is affiliated to University of Mumbai and admits students for 3/5-Year Degree courses in Law prescribed by University of Mumbai for LL.B. Examination. The College is situated in the same campus of Mandal, where other Institutions such as Indirabai G. Kulkarni Arts College, Janakibai Dhondo Kunte Commerce College of the aforesaid faculties are located in Alibag. The Mandal presumes that, the Advocate Datta Patil College of Law will cater to the need of the Raigad District in the limited sense. The Mandal in addition to the above, proposes to start Diploma Courses in due course of time, relating to Labour Law, Cyber Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights with the guidance of University of Mumbai and other Social Institution in accordance with the rules. At present more than 1000 Students have passed out as Lawyers from this reputed Institution and are practicing in various Courts all over the district. The college offers UG courses such as B.L.S. LL.B, LL.B with an affordable fee ranging between INR 60,000-62,727.

The admission process for Adv. Datta Patil College of Law in Alibag, Maharashtra is based on merit and includes the following requirements:
- Twelfth Grade:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or council with a minimum of 45% marks.
- Entrance exam
Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply for the entrance exam. They must produce the provisional or degree certificate and mark lists of the qualifying exam at the time of admission.
- Engineering diploma
Candidates who have passed a 3-year engineering diploma in any faculty are eligible for the 5-year LLB course. They must produce an equivalent certificate from the technical board that conducted the diploma exam.

Faculty: They are too good and we have learned a lot from them
College: This college is affiliated with the Mumbai University and the college is in Alibagh and in the year 2017 I have passed out and the fee of the college was Rs 25,000per year and there was direct admission there on the basis of the bachelor degree result and it is 10 0n 10 colleges from each and every perspective.
