- XAT 2024 registration process will start in the first week of August 2023.

What is XAT Exam?
XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute) Jamshedpur for admission to various management programs offered by its member institutes and other participating B-Schools in India. XAT is considered one of the most prestigious MBA entrance exams in India, and it is taken by thousands of candidates every year.
- The exam is conducted in an online mode, and it tests candidates on various skills such as quantitative ability, verbal ability, decision making, and general knowledge.
- Apart from XLRI, other top B-schools in India that accept XAT scores for admission to their MBA and PGDM programs include SPJIMR Mumbai, IMT Ghaziabad, XIM Bhubaneswar, TAPMI Manipal, and many others.
- The XAT exam is usually held in January every year, and the registration process for the exam usually starts in September. The exam duration is three hours, and it consists of both objective and subjective type questions.

XAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline from a recognized university to apply for the XAT 2024.
- Those in their final year/semester of graduation may also apply for the XAT 2024 exam.
- Candidates who apply via GMAT can register for XAT 2024 until the last week of December 2023.
How to fill XAT Application Form 2024?
- Candidates who want to take the XAT exam can apply by creating a login account on the XAT website. The following is a step-by-step procedure for completing the XAT 2024 application form:
- Visit the official website: Go to the official website of XAT - https://xatonline.in/ and click on the "Register/Login" tab.
- Create a new account: Click on the "Register" button and fill in your basic details such as name, email address, mobile number, and date of birth. Create a password and confirm it.

- Fill in the application form: Once you have created your account, log in to your account using your registered email id and password. Fill in your personal, educational, and work experience details in the application form.
- Upload documents: You will be required to upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature. Make sure that the scanned copies are in the specified format and size.
- Pay the application fee: The application fee for XAT 2023 is Rs. 1800/- (without late fee) and Rs. 2000/- (with late fee). You can pay the fee online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Submit the application form: Once you have filled in all the details and paid the application fee, click on the "Submit" button to submit your application form.
- Download the confirmation page: After submitting the application form, download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
- Check the application status: You can check your application status by logging in to your account. You will receive an email and SMS notification once your application is accepted

How to Upload Documents in XAT Application Form 2024?
Follow the steps below to upload a scanned photograph, signature, and class 10, class 12, and graduation marksheets:
- There will be separate fields for uploading your photo and signing your name.
- Click on the 'Upload Photograph/Signature' link.
- Navigate to and select the location where the scanned document was saved
- Click on the file to select it.
- Select the 'Upload' option.

Documents Required for XAT Registration 2024

In the event that a candidate forgets their XAT login credentials, they can retrieve them by following the steps below.
- Step 1: Navigate to the XAT Registration 2023 tab.
- Step 2 - Select the "Forgot Password" option.
- Step 3 - Candidates must provide their registered email address and phone number.
- Step 4: Enter the captcha code.
- Step 5 - Select the "Get Password" option.
- Step 6 - The XAT 2023 registration ID and password will be emailed to the candidates' registered email addresses.

XAT Registration 2024: Key Points to Remember
- Candidates can choose up to three cities for XAT exam center placement.
- An e-Receipt will be generated upon successful payment of XAT exam fees. The absence of an 'E-Receipt' indicates a PAYMENT FAILURE.
- Candidates are advised to login again using their email id and password if payment fails and to repeat the payment process.
- Take a printout of the e-Receipt and the online application form. If the same cannot be generated, the online transaction may have failed.
- The website also allows you to download/print an application form containing fee details after you have paid your fees.
- Candidates should print the payment confirmation page for future communication with the XAT office.
