VOCLET Latest Updates: The VOCLET Phase 1 seat allotment result has been announced on the official website. Candidates could contact their allotted colleges till July 5, 2024, and the second merit list will be out on July 12, 2024. In addition to this, the VOCLET choice filling window for phase 2 will open from 12 to 18 July.
Candidates will be able to check their VOCLET scores through the VOCLET Result once officially released. The qualified candidates will then be eligible to participate in the VOCLET Counselling.
VOCLET 2024: The VOCLET authorities had re-opened the VOCLET Application Form. Earlier, the last date to fill out the VOCLET Application form was 31st May 2024. The candidates who could not fill out the application form then or could not complete it for any reason could complete the VOCLET Application form by 30th June 2024 - the extended date. The VOCLET merit list of candidates for the second round will be continuous to that of the first round of applicants. The first round applicants will get the preference in choice filling.
Candidates can check their VOCLET Scores through the VOCLET Result once it is announced. Qualified candidates will be able to participate in the VOCLET Counselling. VOCLET Full Form: The full form of VOCLET is the Vocational Lateral Entry Test, and it is conducted for admission to second-year diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) courses.
For admission to first-year diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) courses, the JEXPO Exam is conducted.
The West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) organizes the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training (WBSCLET) entrance exam every year. VOCLET is a state-level entrance exam that allows applicants to gain admission to West Bengal's second-year Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) courses. The VOCLET Eligibility Criteria is fairly simple for the diploma courses in Engineering and Technology. Candidates must carefully go through these eligibility criteria and then apply for the exam. The VOCLET syllabus comprises various topics covered under 5 major subjects - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and General Aptitude. Students must know that a wide range of topics are covered under each subject like the law of indices, complex numbers, algebra of complex numbers, and many more in Mathematics. Units of measurement, dimensions of physical quantities, graphical analysis under Physics, Chemical industries, equations under Chemistry, Basic Grammar, Vocabulary, and Reading Comprehension in English, and Quantitative and Analytical Aptitude under General Aptitude. VOCLET 2024, also known as the Vocational Lateral Entry Test, is administered by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCT & VE).
VOCLET 2024 is a state-level lateral entry exam for West Bengal polytechnic courses. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam of the West Bengal vocational education board are eligible to take the exam.
Candidates must pay a Rs. 450/- application fee (Rs. 225/- for Kanyashree enrollees).
A candidate may provide all options, such as Institute-Branch combinations.

JEXPO is organized online by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. JEXPO draws a large number of applicants and is a difficult exam in terms of applicant numbers and available seats.
