UPTET Exam 2024
UPTET or the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is an entrance examination that is conducted once a year at the state level in Uttar Pradesh. This exam helps students become eligible for Teacher's positions at the Primary and Upper Primary levels in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. Primary school is from classes 1 to 5 and Upper Primary school is from classes 6 to 8.
UPTET exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). The exam is usually conducted in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UPTET Paper 1 is conducted for candidates who wish to become primary class teachers while UPTET Paper 2 is conducted for candidates who wish to become Upper Primary Teachers.
Besides, those who wish to become teachers of classes 1 to 8 are required to appear in both UPTET Paper 1 and UPTET Paper 2.

UP TET Notification 2024

- Navigate to and click on ‘UPTET'.
- Click on the ‘UPTET Registration 2024' tab.
- Read all the instructions carefully and click on the checkbox of declaration which is displayed at the bottom of the page.
- Click on the ‘Apply Here' tab.
- Fill all the details asked in the UPTET Registration Form
- Click on the declaration at the end of the page.
- Fill the UPTET Application form with the correct details.
- Process the payment of the UPTET Application Fee.
- Upload the required documents such as scanned passport-sized photographs and signatures of candidates.
- Review and submit the duly filled application form.
- Save the confirmation page for future reference.

UPTET Selection Process
The UPTET Selection Process consists of a few steps that UPTET Qualified candidates are required to follow.
- UPTET Notification Release – The process of UPTET Exam begins with the release of an official notification. The notification is made available as a PDF file that consists of the important details related to the exam.
- UPTET Application Form – The second stage of the exam process includes the UPTET Registration. Candidates taking the exam are required to fill the UPTET Application Form to appear in the exam. For successful submission of the UPTET Registration Form, candidates must process the payment of application fee of INR 600. It is INR 600 for general category students and INR 400 and INR 100 for SC/ST, and PwD category candidates respectively.
- UPTET Admit Card – The UPTET Admit Card is issued to the candidates with successful registration. Candidates must download their UPTET Admit Card before appearing in the examination. This is one essential document that they must carry to the examination centre on the exam date.
- UPTET Exam 2024 – UPTET Exam consists of two papers i.e. UPTET Paper 1 and UPTET Paper 2. In both the UPTET Papers, a total of 150 MCQs are asked. Each question carries one mark. Candidates will get 1 mark for every correct answer and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- UPTET Result – UPTET Result is announced after a few days the exam is conducted successfully. The result will be announced in by the examination conducting authority on the official website. Candidates with at least 60% marks in aggregate in the written exam will be declared as qualified and hence eligible.
- UPTET Eligibility Criteria Certificate – Those who qualify the exam are issued a UPTET Eligibility Certificate by the examination conducting body. Candidates in possession of this certificate will be considered eligible to apply for the teaching jobs in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. The validity of UPTET Eligibility Criteria Certificate has now been extended to a lifetime.
UPTET Syllabus 2024
UPTET Syllabus 2024 has been prescribed by the examination regulatory authority on behalf of the UPBEB. The syllabus includes information for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies are all covered in the UPTET Paper 1 syllabus. The UPTET Paper 2 Syllabus, on the other hand, includes questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Sciences.
